MP D.El.Ed Admission 2027: No Exam, Merit-based Counselling

MP D.El.Ed Admission 2027 has no entrance exam. Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSK), Bhopal fills about 49,000 Diploma in Elementary Education seats in Government DIETs and private institutes on Class 12 merit, through online counselling on the MPOnline portal. Registration for 2027-28 is expected from May 2027, followed by centralised and college-level rounds.

Is there an entrance exam for MP D.El.Ed 2027?

No. Admission to the two-year D.El.Ed. course in Madhya Pradesh is made on merit in your Class 12 marks, with no written test. Seats are allotted by your percentage and the order of institutes you choose, as set out in the D.El.Ed. admission rules of the School Education Department.

The whole process, from registration to the allotment letter and fee payment, runs on the Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSK) D.El.Ed. counselling portal at rsk.mponline.gov.in.

MP D.El.Ed Admission 2027 Important Dates

The 2027-28 timetable is not out yet, so the dates below are expected months based on the 2026-27 counselling.

How to Apply for MP D.El.Ed Admission 2027

You register once on the RSK MPOnline portal and use the same application number in every later round. The rules say the set fee for registration, editing and choice filling is paid at an MPOnline kiosk centre.

1. Open the D.El.Ed. counselling page on rsk.mponline.gov.in when round 1 registration opens.
2. Register with your details and upload all required documents. MPOnline sends your login ID and password by SMS.
3. Fill your choice of institutes in order of preference. You can choose as many institutes as you like.
4. Pay the fee and submit. Use the edit window in the timetable to correct any mistake; no change is allowed after admission.
5. For rounds 2 and 3 and the CLC rounds, log in with your existing application number. Do not register again.

In 2026-27, round 1 registration ran from 15 to 29 May 2026. Seats are allotted only from the details you enter, so a wrong entry is your responsibility.

Who can apply for MP D.El.Ed Admission 2027?

You can apply if you have passed Class 12 (Higher Secondary) from MP Board or an equivalent board with at least 50% marks, as per NCTE norms. SC and ST candidates of Madhya Pradesh get a 5% relaxation.

• Age: you must be 17 years old on 1 July of the admission year.
• Government DIETs: only natives of the district or districts that the DIET covers can get a seat there.
• Reservation (SC, ST, OBC) applies only to domicile candidates of Madhya Pradesh, with a permanent caste certificate from the SDM (Revenue) or a higher officer.

Candidates from districts without a DIET apply to a linked DIET; for example, Burhanpur candidates apply to DIET Khandwa and Niwari candidates to DIET Kundeshwar (Tikamgarh).

How is the MP D.El.Ed 2027 merit list prepared?

Your rank comes from the percentage of marks in Class 12. Seats are then allotted by that merit and the institute preferences you lock during registration.

If a stream or a horizontal quota has no eligible candidate, the seat goes to others on merit. The rules allow reservation provisions to be relaxed in the third round if needed.

How do MP D.El.Ed 2027 counselling rounds work?

There are three centralised rounds, then college-level counselling (CLC) rounds, with separate rounds for minority institutes.

1. Centralised rounds 1 to 3: register or update choices, get an online allotment letter, then report to the allotted institute to take admission.
2. CLC rounds: register and fill choices again; each institute sees a merit list in its login and admits candidates who report in the given window.
3. Minority institutes: run their own college-level rounds on the same portal.
4. Admission cancellation: allowed only in the notified window (15 to 21 August in 2026).

In 2026-27 the rounds ran from May to 3 September 2026, through three centralised rounds and three CLC rounds.

How to Check the MP D.El.Ed 2027 Allotment Result

The result of each round is an online allotment letter, not a scorecard. SMS and the portal also tell you which institute you got.

1. Open rsk.mponline.gov.in and go to the D.El.Ed. counselling page.
2. Open the allotment letter link for the current round.
3. Enter your application number and the details asked for.
4. Download the allotment letter; it shows the institute and the last date to take admission.
5. Report to the institute within that period for document checks, then pay the institute fee online through MPOnline.

Admission is confirmed only after the online fee is paid.

Which documents do you need for MP D.El.Ed 2027 admission?

• Online allotment letter
• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets in original
• MP domicile (native) certificate
• Permanent caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC), with a non-creamy layer certificate and current year income certificate for OBC
• Disability certificate from the district medical board (40% or more), if claimed
• Ex-servicemen certificate, if claimed

The institute checks originals and returns them at once. Admission obtained with false information is cancelled, and legal action can follow.

How many MP D.El.Ed seats are there?

The 2026-27 institute list on the portal shows 747 D.El.Ed. institutes with 48,990 seats. Of these, 45 are Government DIETs with 3,650 seats and 702 are private institutes.

The portal list also marks which institutes are minority institutes and which admit only women.
