The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh conducts the LPCET 2019 exam. Candidates had to register themselves to appear in the examination. Candidates who intended to take admission into one year Language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Government IASEs/CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the state by Dept. of School Education, Govt of A.P have to appear for the Language Pandit Common Entrance Test (LPCET). Candidates can able to register themselves online. It is highly advised that the candidates download the information brochure from the official website and go through it once to check whether they are eligible or not to appear in the examination.
The LPCET 2019 exam will be conducted online in one spell. LPCET 2019 will be conducted in all the 13 Districts of the A.P state. LPCET 2019 Seat Allotment
All the sanctioned intake of seats in language pandit training Course in the Govt.IASE”s/CTEs and pandit training colleges shall be filled by the Convener LPCET-2019. Such seats shall be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the rank obtained in LPCET-2019. The intake capacity in each institute may change from time to time as decided by NCTE ( National Council for Teacher Education). The Admission procedure will be followed as per the Government Orders.

LPCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The detailed eligibility criteria for LPCET 2019 is mentioned below, candidates can check for the same.
- Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
- The candidate should satisfy the Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
- Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 19 years as on July 01, 2019. There is no upper age limit.
- Educational Qualifications:
|Telugu Pandit||BA (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu)|
|Hindi Pandit||A grade degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or MA (Hindi)|
|Urdu Pandit||BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Urdu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Urdu or MA (Urdu)|
LPCET 2019 Application Form
Candidates who intend to take admission into one year Language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Government IASEs/CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the state by Dept. of School Education, Govt of A.P have to appear for LPCET 2019 exam. Candidates who wish to appear for the LPCET exam need to register themselves for the examination. Candidates who submit their application form and deposit their application fees on time will be able to appear to in the exam. The application form for LPCET 2019 will be released online as per the schedule. Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria before applying for the LPCET 2019.
LPCET 2019 Admit Card
The LPCET 2019 admit card will be issued by the Department of Education. The admit card will be available in the online mode. Candidates will not receive the admit card via post. Candidates will have to download the admit card from the official website. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card on the day of the exam. They will not be allowed to appear for the examination without the admit card.
LPCET 2019 Syllabus
Candidates should follow the syllabus laid down by the official body. All the questions in the exam will be asked as per the syllabus.
- The syllabus for Numerical Ability will comprise of Four Fundamental operations (Addition, Subtraction, Division, and Multiplication) and Averages.
- For the language section candidates will have to prepare from the topics listed below. While a standard graduation degree course will be sufficient for the Literature section

- The syllabus for Literature is of Graduate Degree Standard.
LPCET 2019 Exam Scheme
The LPCET 2019 exam is an objective type exam. The exam will consist of multiple choice question. The examination will be conducted in the offline mode. Candidate will have to answer 100 questions. One mark will be awarded for every correct response. The duration of the examination is 2 Hours. The exam will be divided into four sections listed below:
