How to Use PU CET PG Previous Year Papers?
- Time yourself at 90 minutes. For a 75-question paper that is 72 seconds a question. LL.M. candidates get 100 questions in the same time, about 54 seconds each, so practise LL.M. papers at a faster pace.
- Guess only after ruling out an option. With +1 and −1/4, a blind guess among four options averages about +0.06 marks. Ruling out one option raises that to about +0.17, so guess only when you can drop at least one choice.
- Solve your 2026 paper first. The 2026 page has 27 course papers and the final keys issued after objections, so you can score yourself exactly. Then work back through the 2024, 2022 and 2021 combined PDFs, which come with keys.
- Use 2017 to 2019 for depth. These years are split course by course, and most papers have their own key, which makes them the easiest to practise topic by topic.
- Plan for June 2027. About seven months remain, with registration expected in May 2027. One paper every two weeks covers all eight years for your course before the test.
PU CET PG Previous Year Question Papers FAQs
How many questions are there in the PU CET PG paper?
Most course papers have 75 one-mark multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes. LL.M. has 100 questions, and M.Com. (Hons.) and MBA for Executives have 85.

Which PU CET PG years are on this page?
Papers for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2026, and the 2025 answer key without the papers. There are no 2020 or 2025 question papers here.
Are PU CET PG previous year papers available with solutions?
Every year except 2023 has Panjab University’s answer key, which gives the correct option for each question (not worked solutions). The 2026 page has the final keys issued in response to objections, one for LL.M. and one for all other subjects.
Is there a separate PU CET PG paper for my course, such as MCA or M.Sc. Chemistry?
Yes for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2026: those years have one PDF per course, including MCA, M.Sc. Chemistry and M.Sc. Forensic Science. For 2021 to 2024 all courses are in one combined PDF (the 2021 file runs to about 400 pages), so find your course’s section inside it.
What is the minimum score to qualify PU CET PG?
You need at least 20% of the maximum marks (15% for SC, ST, BC and PwD) to enter the merit list. M.A. English, Economics and History need 35% (30%).
