UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Counselling
UP B.ED JEE counselling 2020 has started online on the official website i.e lkouniv.ac.in. It is held in the three rounds i.e Round 1, Pool Round and Direct Round. The phases are divided on the basis of the state rank. Candidates need to login with their user id and password to register for the same. They also need to pay counselling fee of Rs.750/- and an amount of Rs.5000 as advance college fee. This amount is only refunded if no seat is allotted to applicant in the pool round. The following are the steps for UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Counselling.
Step 1: Registrations:
First, of all the candidates need to login with user id and password and register with basic details. They have to pay the counselling and college in this step.
Step 2: Choice Filling:
In this round, the applicants have to exercise the options of college and course in the order of preference.
Step 3: Seat Allotment:
The seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of the rank in UP B.ED, choices filling and their category. They can either choose freeze option if confirmed. However, if they want to go for upward movement, they have to choose float.
Step 4: Download confirmation letter:
Those who have been allotted a college have to download Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation letter.
Step 5: Reporting at college:
After allotment of letter, candidates have to report to the college within 7 days.
UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Result
The official authority has released the result for UP B.Ed JEE 2020 on the official website i.e lkouniv.ac.in. Candidates have to use their user id and password to download their respective scorecard. The merit list for the same is also published in pdf format. Selected candidates have to report for the UP B.Ed JEE 2020 counselling process and document verification. Here is how the result is compiled:
First, raw score is calculated with the following marking scheme:
- For each correct answer: 3 marks are allotted
- For each incorrect answer: 1/ 3 are deducted
Then, merit list is prepared on the basis of the same.
UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for UP B.Ed JEE 2020 is released by online mode. No hard copy of it is sent to the candidates via post. Hence, to download it, user id and password as obtained after registration is required. Through the admit card, candidates are allotted their exam centre and reporting time for the exam.
On the printed admit card, candidates need to paste their photo, preferably the same as uploaded in the application. Carry admit card, black / blue ballpoint pen, and valid id proof to the allotted test center.
UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Exam Pattern
Candidates who are preparing for the test must take a look at the exam pattern, distribution of questions for UP B.Ed JEE 2020 below.
Mode of the exam: The entrance exam is conducted in pen-paper mode.
Duration of the exam: Candidates need to complete the test in a duration of 03 hours.
Type of questions: In the questions paper, candidates have to solve objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs).
Marking scheme: For a correct answer, candidates will get +02 marks and there is negative marking of -1/3 marks for an incorrect answer.

Paper 1 – In this, GK section is compulsory for all, whereas the other section which is language test, candidates can solve queestions from any of the language.

UP B.ED JEE 2020 Application Form
The application process for UP B.Ed JEE 2020 can be completed in three (03) steps –
Step 1: Online registration
Step 2: Filling in details in UP B.Ed JEE 2020 application form
Step 3: Payment of application fee, taking a print out of completed form and fee receipt for future reference.
Firstly, the candidates have to register online at lkouniv.ac.in by providing details like their name, date of birth, email id, etc. Remember that the details provided in the registration form cannot be edited later. Once the registration part is over, proceed to fill in details in the application form, upload necessary images, select the test center. Finally pay the required amount of application fee and take a print out of the completed form for future reference.
Application Fee – To submit UP B.Ed JEE 2020 form, candidates need to pay the following amount of applicaton fee. The application fee is payable by internet banking / credit / debit card.

UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Application Form Correction
Once the application process is over, the University of Lucknow, shall provide a facility for the candidates to edit details in the form. UP B.Ed JEE 2020 form correction facility is provided for a limited time period only. Furthemore, candidates can update only restricted details during correction window. For example, registration details, and opted category shall not be edited by the candidates.
UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants who wish to apply for the entrance exam must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified below:
Age limit
- Aspirants should have a minimum 14 years of age (as on June 30, 2020) to register for U.P. B.Ed. Joint entrance exam 2020.
Educational qualification
- Bachelor’s / Masters degree in sciences, social sciences, and humanities with minimum 50% marks. OR
- Candidates who have a BA or B.Tech degree with a specialisation in maths or science must have obtained 55% marks in the degree exam.
- Those who are appearing for the final year degree exam in the year 2020 are also eligible to apply.
Important notes:
- There are is a relaxation of 5% marks for vision disability candidates.
- There is no maximum age limit for the candidates.
UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Answer Key
Lucknow University shall release the answer key for JEE B.Ed 2020, however, there is no confirmation by the conducting body. Soon after the exam is over, various coaching institutes shall release UP B.Ed answer key. With the help of the answer key, candidates can cross-check their answers and estimate their chances of qualifying the test. Aspirants can also calculate their score by adding and deducting marks as per the marking scheme.
