Uttar Pradesh every year conduct a state level B.E.d Joint Entrance Examination to give admissions to the eligible candidates in Government, Government aided colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This examination is conducted by the Lucknow University. Thousands of candidates appear for this examination. Registration for UP B.Ed JEE 2018 has been started and is followed by the examination which will be held on April 11, 2018. Application forms for the examination is available on the official website at www.upbed.nic.in. Candidates who are studying is last year can also apply for UP B.Ed JEE 2018. UP B.Ed JEE 2018

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate who desire to take admission in B.Ed programme must check their eligibility before applying for the application form. Given below is the eligibility criteria for UP B.Ed JEE 2018.

  • Must be a citizen of India
  • Candidates of science / social sciences / humanities category in general and backward classes must have obtained 50% (fifty percent) from a recognized university.
  • Candidates who have graduated in B.Tech/B.E should have minimum 55% aggregate in mathematics, science.

UP B.Ed JEE 2018 Application Form

The registration for the examination has been started on Lucknow’s university official website at www.upbed.nic.in . The application form must be filled and submitted through online procedure. Before filling the application form candidates are advised to read the instructions for the same in brochure that is given below. The university selects the students on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination so that best students can get admission. To apply for the same applicants have to pay some application fee which is mentioned below:

Application fee: Application fee shall be paid after the candidate has registered for the examination. Only after paying the fee candidate will be able to fill the application form for UP B.Ed JEE 2018. Application fee for all the category is as follows.

  • For the General and OBC candidates – Rs. 1500
  • For ST/SC – Rs. 750

To apply for  UP B.Ed JEE 2018 examination candidate first have to register themselves on the official website at  www.upbed.nic.in After the registration candidate must pay the application fee through offline(challan) or online mode (Credit/ Debit card or net banking). Admit Card for UP B.Ed JEE 2018

UP B.Ed JEE 2018 Admit card shall be released on scheduled date. Once the hall ticket/ Admit card is announced, candidates will be able to download it from the official website at www.upbed.nic.in  To download the admit card candidate have to enter their registration number, Date of Birth and text that will appear displayed on the window. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the admit card in  A4 size sheet. After that, applicant should take signature of his or father on the admit card as a proof of authentication. Candidate must put their left thumb impression on the downloaded admit card in the space specified for it. Candidate must carry two copies of the admit card, one will be handovered to the invigilator in the examination hall. No candidate shall be allowed to give the examination without the valid admit card.

Exam Pattern

There will be objective type question in Entrance Exam paper. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. 3 (three) marks will be added for every correct answer and 1/3 (one by third) marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. There will be two questions papers in Entrance Exam.

UP B.Ed JEE 2018 Result

The result shall be announced between May 10 – 15, 2018. The result will be available on the official website. To check the result candidate has to click on the tab of examination result the a window will appear in which candidate has to put his or her roll number, registration number and the image that will be displayed in the window. Only after the result declaration candidate will be able to fill the choices of colleges for the counselling procedure. The counselling for the allotment of college shall commence from 1st day of June 2018. Candidate should have a hard copy of result at the time of counselling.

Counselling Schedule for UP B.Ed JEE 2018

Counselling schedule shall started from 1st day of June which will be held in 6 stage. Seat allotment for the colleges will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination. According to the norms of the University, reservations for the categories has been done as:

Vertical Reservation

  • 21% for Scheduled Caste Candidates
  • 02% for Scheduled Tribe Candidates
  • 27% for OBC Candidates

Horizontal Reservation

Physical Disabled( Minimum 40% disabled) / Blind Persons will be given 03% reservation of total seats.
