Uttarakhand Sanskrit University B.Ed 2027 means the Purva Shiksha Shastri Pariksha (PSST), the entrance test USVV, Haridwar holds for 50 seats in its 2-year Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed) course for Sanskrit graduates. The 2027 notice is not out yet. Going by 2026, the form should come between February and April 2027 and the test in May 2027.

USVV has not announced the 2027 schedule, so the dates below are expected months. In 2026 the form was out from 25 February to 20 April 2026 and the test was held on 10 May 2026, about three weeks earlier than in 2024 and 2025.

How to Apply for Uttarakhand Sanskrit University B.Ed 2027

There is no online form. You download the application form from usvv.ac.in, fill it by hand and send it by registered or speed post so that it reaches the university by the last date. In 2026 the last date was 20 April 2026, 5:00 PM, and forms arriving later were not considered.

1. Open usvv.ac.in and download the PSST Nirdeshika (bulletin) and application form for the 2027-29 session when it is posted on the home page.
2. Fill the form neatly in your own handwriting with a ballpoint pen, and paste a recent photograph (not older than three months).
3. Write the first letter of your name in English capital letters on top of the form, as the bulletin asks (for example SURESH (S)).
4. Attach self-attested copies of your Class 10, Class 12, Shastri or BA (Sanskrit) and Acharya or MA (Sanskrit) mark sheets, your caste certificate, and your domicile (permanent residence) certificate.
5. Pay the fee by demand draft in favour of the Finance Controller, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, or by online or net banking transfer to the university account given in the notice, and attach the receipt.
6. Post the form to the Registrar, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar-Delhi National Highway, Bahadrabad, Haridwar 249402. Send only one form, as more than one cancels your candidature.

How many B.Ed seats are there at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University?

The Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed) course has 50 seats at the university campus in Haridwar. The B.Ed course is recognised by the NCTE, and seats are filled strictly in merit order of the PSST.

Who can apply for Uttarakhand Sanskrit University B.Ed 2027?

You can apply if you hold a Sanskrit degree with at least 50% marks. These are the 2026 bulletin rules; check the 2027 bulletin when it is released.

• Qualification: Shastri or BA with Sanskrit (10+2+3), or Acharya or MA (Sanskrit), or an equivalent degree.
• Marks: at least 50% in the qualifying degree; SC and ST candidates get a 5% relaxation (45%).
• Your Shastri or BA must include one school subject or language other than Sanskrit as a full paper.
• Candidates who have not finished the qualifying exam by the test date get a provisional admit card and must prove eligibility before counselling.
• Reservation and relaxation follow the latest Uttarakhand government orders; attach the certificates in the prescribed format with your form.

What is the Uttarakhand Sanskrit University B.Ed 2027 exam pattern?

The PSST is a 2 hour 30 minute objective test of 200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks, in four sections of 50 questions each. The question paper is in Sanskrit, and the test is held only at the university headquarters in Haridwar.

• Sanskrit: sandhi, shabdroop, dhaturoop (five lakaras), samas, karak, krit and taddhit suffixes, vachya, chhand, alankar, kavya and Indian philosophy basics.
• General knowledge: Indian history, constitution and culture, the UN, sports, environment, current affairs, and Uttarakhand geography, statehood movement, fairs and festivals.
• Mental ability: number and letter series, coding-decoding, blood relations, direction sense, calendar, clock, mirror images and puzzles.
• Teaching aptitude: teaching-learning situations, learner-centred teaching, motivation, Sanskrit teacher’s role, education commissions (Radhakrishnan, Mudaliar, Sanskrit, Kothari) and education policies up to 2020.
