This section has 25 questions on grammar, vocabulary and reading. You choose Hindi or Urdu.

- Biology: cell, tissues, life processes, control and coordination, reproduction, heredity, environment and natural resources
What is asked in Social Studies?
Social Studies has 20 questions on history, geography, polity and economics, with some Bihar topics.
- History: ancient, medieval and modern India, the national movement and Bihar’s role in it
- Geography: physical features, climate, rivers, resources, agriculture and industry of India and the world
- Polity: the Constitution, fundamental rights and duties, Parliament, judiciary, state government and panchayati raj
- Economics: Indian economy, money and banking, poverty and development
What comes in General English and Reasoning?
General English has 20 questions and Reasoning has 10.
- English: tenses, articles, prepositions, voice, narration, subject-verb agreement
- English: synonyms, antonyms, one-word substitution, idioms, error spotting, sentence arrangement, unseen passage
- Reasoning: number and letter series, analogy, coding-decoding, direction sense, blood relations
- Reasoning: ranking, syllogism, Venn diagrams, calendar, clock and figure-based questions
How is the Bihar D.El.Ed exam marked?
Each correct answer gets 1 mark and there is no negative marking. The exam is a 2 hour 30 minute computer-based test.

How should I prepare for the Bihar D.El.Ed syllabus?
