Bihar Integrated B.Ed Syllabus 2026 and Exam Pattern

The Bihar Integrated B.Ed syllabus 2026 has five sections: General English, General Hindi, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General Awareness and Teaching-Learning Environment in Schools. The test has 120 one-mark questions in two hours. The official prospectus lists only these sections, not chapter-wise topics; the 2026 prospectus is not out yet.

What is the Bihar Integrated B.Ed 2026 syllabus?

The syllabus is the five sections below, with General Awareness carrying the most marks. These are from the 2025 prospectus; the 2026 prospectus may confirm or change them.

The prospectus gives no detailed topic list. The questions are at a general level for Class 12 pass students, so the best guide to topics is the previous year question papers.

How is the test marked?

120 objective questions with four options each; you pick the most suitable one.
Each question carries one mark, so the maximum is 120.
The test lasts two hours and is answered on an OMR sheet with a blue or black ball pen.
The 2025 prospectus does not mention negative marking.

How should you prepare for each section?

Spend time in proportion to the marks: General Awareness alone is a third of the paper.

General English (15): reading comprehension, vocabulary and basic grammar at Class 10 to 12 level.
General Hindi (15): Hindi grammar, vocabulary and unseen passages at school level.
Logical and Analytical Reasoning (25): series, analogies, coding-decoding, directions, blood relations and simple puzzles.
General Awareness (40): current affairs, Indian history, geography, polity, economy and basic science, with Bihar-specific facts.
Teaching-Learning Environment in Schools (25): how children learn, the role of the teacher, classroom situations and school environment.

Which section carries the most marks?

General Awareness, with 40 of the 120 marks. Logical and Analytical Reasoning and Teaching-Learning Environment in Schools carry 25 each.
