How to Check the Chandigarh B.Ed 2027 Result
- Open the PU results website (results.puexam.in) once the result is declared.
- Click Entrance Results and select the B.Ed. Chandigarh Entrance Test 2027 result.
- Enter the details asked for, such as the roll number on your admit card.
- View and save your result.
The admission website also links to the result. After the result, candidates who did not enter their degree marks earlier can update them by logging in; in 2026 this window ran from 15 July to 4 August.
How is the Chandigarh B.Ed merit list prepared?
Merit depends only on your marks in the entrance test. Pool-wise, category-wise and course-wise merit lists are made, and the tentative merit list goes up on the admission website (6 August in 2026).
- Ties are broken first by the higher percentage in the qualifying degree, then by age (older ranks higher).
- Candidates with a CGPA must convert it into a percentage with their university’s formula and bring that formula to counselling.
- Qualifying the test does not by itself guarantee a seat; your eligibility is checked at counselling.
What is the expected Chandigarh B.Ed 2027 cut off?

In the first 2026 counselling round (official schedule), General and reserved candidates in both pools were called in score bands of 55 and above, 54.99 to 40, and 39.99 to 28. Category and sub-category seats were open to all eligible candidates.
What happens at Chandigarh B.Ed counselling?
Seats are allotted at face-to-face counselling at Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh. There is no online choice filling.
- Check the counselling schedule on the admission website; candidates are called by pool, category and score band.
- Print two copies of your application form from your login after the result.
- Attend at your slot with all original documents and two sets of self-attested copies.
- Pay the counselling fee (Rs 700 in cash in 2026) and, if you take a seat, the token admission fee (Rs 4,000 in 2026).
- Report to the allotted college within two working days for document checks and admission.
In 2026 the first round was held on 12 and 13 August and the second on 26 and 27 August. One-time shifting is allowed during counselling, and seats still vacant afterwards are filled as decided by the admission committee.
