Is there an entrance exam for DU SOL admission 2026-27?

No, not for UG. Under Distance Education Bureau (DEB) rules, CUET is not needed for SOL’s undergraduate courses, and there is no seat limit, so you get admission once your documents are verified and you pay the fee.

PG admission works on merit lists. For M.A. and M.Com, students who apply with a CUET (PG) 2026 score get first preference, and the remaining seats go to applicants on graduation marks. The MBA merit list uses graduation marks and work experience, with no CUET.

SOL does hold semester exams for students already admitted, and it issues admission tickets (hall tickets) for them. Those are not part of the admission process.

  • MBA has no upper age limit. Merit lists come in rounds (the sixth MBA list for 2026-27 is already out), followed by a mop-up round if seats remain; mop-up fees are not refunded.
