How to Apply for the Banasthali Aptitude Test 2027
You apply by filling one admission form for Banasthali Vidyapith on its website; there is no separate form for the aptitude test. The 2027-28 form is not open yet, so the steps below follow the 2026-27 process.

Applications for Banasthali Aptitude Test 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Open the Vidyapith’s online forms page and choose the Higher Education admission application form.
- Fill in your personal details, Class 10 and Class 12 (or degree) results and the course you want.
- Enter your GATE, GAT-B or NCET score if your course asks for it.
- Submit the form and pay the application fee by the method the portal shows. Note your form number.
- Register on the admission login page with your form number as login ID and create a password to track the status of your form.

All other courses, such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BBA and BCA, admit students on merit in the qualifying exam. A few master’s courses in performing arts, fine arts and textile design use their own aptitude test, as noted in the prospectus.
Who can apply for the Banasthali Aptitude Test 2027?
Only women can apply, as Banasthali Vidyapith admits women only, irrespective of race, religion, caste or domicile. The course-wise minimum marks below are from the Vidyapith’s 2026-27 admission pages.
- B.Tech: 60% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (40% for SC/ST). B.Tech Biotechnology accepts Physics, Chemistry with Maths and/or Biology.
- M.Tech Integrated (CS, Mechatronics): 60% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (40% for SC/ST).
- B.Pharm: 60% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Maths (40% for SC/ST).
- B.Sc (Nursing): Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and 45% aggregate; at least 17 years old on 31 December of the admission year; unmarried candidates only; medically fit.
- Diploma in Engineering: 55% in Class 10 with English, Science and Maths.
- MBA: 50% in any bachelor’s degree.
- LL.M.: a law degree (5-year integrated law or 3-year LL.B.).
- B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed.: 50% in Class 12 (45% for SC/ST).
Foreign, NRI and NRI-sponsored candidates are admitted on merit on a limited number of seats and do not take the aptitude test; they need 40% aggregate in the qualifying exam. Seats are reserved for SC (15%), ST (7.5%) and physically handicapped (3%) candidates.
What is the Banasthali Aptitude Test 2027 exam pattern?
Each Banasthali aptitude test is an online, objective-type test whose subjects depend on the course. Your merit combines 50% test marks with 50% of your normalized qualifying-exam percentage, as set out in the 2026-27 prospectus.

The prospectus does not give the number of questions, total marks, duration or negative marking for these tests. Legal Courses I covers the Law of Contracts, Law of Torts and Family Law, and Legal Courses II covers Constitutional Law, BNS and Jurisprudence.
How is admission decided after the aptitude test?
Your rank is based on a combined merit: 50% from your aptitude test marks and 50% from your normalized qualifying-exam percentage. For B.Tech, M.Tech Integrated and the Diploma, one common test covers all branches; you list branch preferences in the form, and the branch is allotted by preference and merit rank. Preferences cannot be changed at counselling.
Extra credit is added for some achievements and links with the Vidyapith: 5% for passing the qualifying exam from Banasthali, being an ex-student, having a mother or sister who studied there, a guardian who works there, representing the country in games or taking part in the National Youth Festival; 2 to 3% for state or combined university teams, the NCC C certificate, President Guide/Ranger or a regional youth festival. Banasthali is a residential university. Every admitted student must live in a Vidyapith hostel, unless she is the ward of a Vidyapith worker living on campus or belongs to a neighbouring village community within 2.5 km.
