What is in Part A of the PSSOU Pre B.Ed D.El.Ed syllabus?
Part A is common to all candidates and carries 80 marks across five sections.
- General Hindi Comprehension: reading passages and Hindi language use.
- General English Comprehension: reading passages and English language use.
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
- Educational and General Awareness.
- Teaching-Learning and the School.
What is in Part B (subject competence)?
Part B carries 20 marks and you answer it in one subject you choose: Science, Mathematics or Social Science.

What is the PSSOU Pre B.Ed D.El.Ed 2027 exam pattern?
The paper is offline, for 100 marks, with multiple-choice questions. In 2025 it ran for 2 hours 15 minutes with no negative marking.
