Rajasthan PTET 2027 (Pre Teacher Education Test) is the state entrance test for 2-year B.Ed admission in Rajasthan’s teacher education colleges. The state government names a coordinating university every year. VMOU Kota ran PTET-2026, and the 2027 university is not announced yet. Going by 2026, the form is expected in February 2027 and the exam in June 2027.

PTET 2027 dates are not out yet, so the dates below are expected months. In 2026 the form opened on 20 February, the exam was held on 14 June and the result came out on 25 June 2026.

How to Apply for Rajasthan PTET 2027
You apply online only, on the PTET website that the 2027 coordinating university will launch. In 2026 candidates could apply on their own or through an e-Mitra kiosk, and the last date was extended from 20 March to 22 May 2026.
Apply Online for Rajasthan PTET 2027
Applications for Rajasthan PTET 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Read the PTET 2027 admission guidelines (pravesh disha-nirdeshika) on the official website once they are published.
- Fill in the form online yourself or at an e-Mitra kiosk. Write your name and your parents’ names exactly as on your Class 10 certificate.
- Choose the exam medium (Hindi or English) and the district for your exam centre. The centre district cannot be changed after you submit.
- Upload a recent colour photo (not older than three months), your thumb impression and signature, each as a JPG of up to 100 KB.
- Pay the fee online by debit or credit card, net banking or UPI, then print the form. Keep it with self-attested copies of your documents for counselling.
- Submit only one form. If you apply more than once, only the last form counts and all your forms can be cancelled.

How to log in to the Rajasthan PTET 2027 candidate portal?
The PTET candidate login is where you fill and correct your form, pay fees, download the admit card, see your result and, after the result, register for counselling, fill college choices and print your allotment and admission slips.
- Open the official PTET 2027 website once the coordinating university launches it with the 2027 registration, expected in February 2027. Until then the PTET-2026 portal only serves 2026 candidates, for example for refunds.
- On the home page, open the candidate section for the 2-year B.Ed course.
- To fill or correct the form, register and log in with the details the 2027 login page asks for, then complete each step of the form.
- For counselling, the 2026 rules used your counselling ID, roll number, date of birth, your name and your mother’s name to log in. You set your own password after paying the Rs 5,000 registration fee.
- To fill college choices, log in to the counselling portal and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Check the details shown after you log in. If something is wrong, use the correction panel while it is open (a fee applies).
Lost your login details? Keep your application form printout, roll number and counselling ID safe, because the counselling login is built on them. If you still cannot log in, call the PTET helpline shown on the official website (9116828238 in 2026, 8 AM to 8 PM).
Who can apply for Rajasthan PTET 2027?
You can apply if you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree with the minimum marks below. These are the 2026 rules, based on the NCTE Regulations 2014; the 2027 guidelines will confirm them.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science, Social Science or Humanities with at least 50% marks.
- B.E. or B.Tech with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks.
- SC, ST, OBC, MBC, PwD and other notified categories get 5% relaxation (45%, or 50% for B.E./B.Tech). The 2026 counselling rules also applied 45% to women, widows and divorcees.
- Final-year students may take the test, but their degree result must be out before the counselling registration deadline.
- You need two teaching subjects that you studied for at least two years of your degree. Compulsory subjects such as General English, General Hindi or Elementary Computer do not count.
- Candidates from outside Rajasthan can apply in the General category. Up to 5% of seats go to them on merit; reservation needs a Rajasthan domicile certificate.
Degrees with no school teaching subject, such as BBA, BCA or BSW, are not accepted, and B.Com graduates cannot take Economics as a teaching subject.
What is the Rajasthan PTET 2027 exam pattern?
PTET is one offline OMR paper of 200 multiple-choice questions in four sections, worth 600 marks, in 3 hours. Each correct answer earns 3 marks and there is no negative marking. Teaching Attitude answers are graded 3, 2, 1 or 0.

How are B.Ed seats allotted after Rajasthan PTET 2027?
Seats are allotted only through online counselling run by the coordinating university; colleges cannot admit anyone on their own. In 2026 there were four allotment rounds from July to September and a final on-the-spot round at colleges until 30 September 2026.
- Register for counselling and pay Rs 5,000 online.
- Fill and lock your college choices. There is no limit on the number of choices.
- If you get a college, pay Rs 22,000, upload documents and report to the college in person by the deadline.
- Apply for upward movement if you want a better college; you must report again if you are moved.
