The TG DEECET 2027 syllabus has three parts: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude, languages (General English plus Telugu or Urdu), and Class X level Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences and Social Studies. The 100-question online test is set by the Department of School Education, Telangana, and is expected in May 2027.

What does the TG DEECET 2027 syllabus include?
The syllabus covers three parts and seven subjects. The official bulletin sets the subjects and the number of questions, and says Part III is of Class X standard; it does not publish a chapter-wise list.
- Part I: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude.
- Part II: General English, and General Telugu or General Urdu.
- Part III: Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences and Social Studies, at Class X level.
How many questions come from each subject?
Each medium has 100 questions, but Part II is weighted differently. English medium candidates get more General English and fewer Telugu or Urdu questions.

How is the TG DEECET 2027 paper marked?
Every question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking. The test lasts 120 minutes, as the official question papers show. OC and BC candidates need 35 out of 100 to get a rank.
Where is the official TG DEECET syllabus?
The scheme of the test is in the information bulletin on deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in. The 2027 bulletin is expected with the notification in February or March 2027; the 2026 bulletin is listed below.

How to Prepare for the TG DEECET 2027 Syllabus
- Revise the Telangana SSC (Class X) textbooks for Mathematics, Physical Science, Biology and Social Studies first, since they make up 60 marks.
- Practise grammar, vocabulary and reading in General English and in Telugu or Urdu, as per your medium.
- Read current affairs and basic teaching aptitude topics for Part I.
- Solve the TG DEECET previous year question papers in 120 minutes to learn the question style.
- Revise weak subjects and take a full timed paper every week in the last month.
