Register on ukdeled.com with your mobile number and email ID.
Fill in your personal, category and graduation details. Your group (Science or Non-Science) is fixed from your degree and Intermediate stream.
Choose two exam cities in order of preference.
Upload your photograph and signature, then preview the form.
Pay the fee online by net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI before the fee deadline.
Submit the form and print the confirmation page. Fix any mistakes during the correction window, because no change is accepted after it closes.

Who can apply for Uttarakhand D.El.Ed 2026?

You can apply if you are a graduate who meets the age and Uttarakhand schooling rules below, as set in the 2026 information brochure.

Degree: a bachelor’s degree in science or non-science subjects from a university established by law in India, passed before the last date of application. Your result date is taken as the date your mark sheet was issued.
Age: at least 19 and not more than 30 years on 1 July 2027, the year training starts.
Age relaxation: the upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories as per state rules. There is no relaxation in the minimum age.
Schooling in Uttarakhand: you must have passed High School and Intermediate from recognised institutions in Uttarakhand. The state rules allow exceptions, for example for permanent residents living outside the state for work or study, and for the children of some government employees posted in Uttarakhand.
Reservation: only original residents of Uttarakhand get reservation benefits.
Disability: only the disability categories identified for assistant teacher (primary) posts can apply as PwD candidates.

What is the Uttarakhand D.El.Ed 2026 exam pattern?

The exam is a 2 hour 30 minute written test of 200 multiple choice questions, 1 mark each, with no negative marking. All four sections are compulsory and the paper is in Hindi and English. Topic lists are on the Uttarakhand D.El.Ed 2026 syllabus page.

You mark answers on an OMR sheet. Each question has four options with one correct or most suitable answer. A wrong answer, a blank or more than one marked option gets zero. Exam centres are in 29 cities across all 13 districts.

How are candidates selected for D.El.Ed in Uttarakhand?

Selection is only on the marks you score in the entrance exam. UBSE prepares separate merit lists for the Science and Non-Science groups within the reserved category percentages, in descending order of marks. If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate ranks higher, and then the name that comes first in English alphabetical order.

When will the Uttarakhand D.El.Ed 2027 exam be held?

UBSE has not announced it. Going by the 2025 and 2026 exams, held in November, the next notification is expected in September 2027 and the exam in November 2027.

What is the fee for D.El.Ed training at a DIET in Uttarakhand?

The course is self-financed. Each trainee pays a training fee of Rs 35,000 a year and an exam fee of Rs 1,000 per semester.

Does Uttarakhand D.El.Ed guarantee a government teacher job?

No. The brochure says there is no obligation to appoint trainees to government service. A D.El.Ed makes you eligible for primary assistant teacher posts, but you must still meet the rules in force at the time of recruitment.

Can final-year students apply for Uttarakhand D.El.Ed 2026?

No. You must have passed your graduation before the last date of application, 10 October 2026. Candidates whose results are still awaited on that date are not eligible.

In which group do B.Com graduates apply?

B.Com and other commerce graduates are placed in the Non-Science group. B.Sc. and agriculture graduates go to the Science group. For any other degree, your group is decided by your Intermediate stream.

How many seats are there in Uttarakhand D.El.Ed?

There are 650 seats: 50 in each of the 13 DIETs, split equally between 25 Science and 25 Non-Science seats per DIET.
