UPSEE 2015   UP State Entrance Exam   Complete Details   upsee integrated dual  ImageUPSEE 2015 is the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam for engineering, architecture, pharmacy, management and other courses. Admission in colleges affiliated to UPTU Lucknow is done on the basis of UPSEE exam. Lakhs of students appear in the UP State Entrance Exam each year. Get here complete details of UPSEE 2015. Application form, information brochure and important details of UPSEE 2015 are released by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) at www.upsee.nic.in and www.uptu.ac.in.

UPSEE 2015 application form is expected to be available both offline and online. Last year the application form was released on March 15th. Official notification regarding application form of UPSEE 2015 should be announced soon. To apply for UPSEE 2015 you must keep your documents ready.

Please note that the official details regarding UPSEE 2015 have not yet been announced. Details given here are as per last year information brochure and subject to change. As soon as the information brochure is published, details will be updated on this page.

Last year, the examination was held for admission to the following courses.

  • Engineering (B.Tech.) /B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.) /Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) /Architecture (B.Arch.) /Hotel Management (BHMCT) /Fashion & Apparel Design (BFAD) in Ist year as also in 2nd year (lateral entry) in B.Tech and B.Pharm (OMR Based Test).
  • 1st year MBA /MCA /MAM (Dual Degree 5 years) course and 2nd year MCA (Lateral Entry).

Date of exam: April, 2015. Exact date yet to be announced.

B.Tech. and B.Pharm

  • Candidate must have passed U. P. Board intermediate examination or class 10+2 examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University.
  • Candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together.

UPSEE 2015 Exam Pattern

Last year 8 separate papers were conducted for different courses.

Paper 7 Lateral Entry for B.Pharm 2nd Year(for Pharmacy Diploma Holders)
Paper 8 Lateral Entry for B.Tech. 2nd Year (for B. Sc. Graduates)

UPSEE 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam

If pattern remains same as last year, the paper 1 will be scheduled for engineering aspirants. The exam pattern of UPSEE 2015 engineering entrance exam is expected to be as follows.

Paper 1 – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

  • Questions on physics, chemistry and mathematics.
  • 50 questions in each subject. Total questions would be 150.
  • Total marks of the paper would be 600.

Paper 2 – Physics, Chemistry and Biology

  • 50 objective type questions each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a total of 150 questions.
  • Total marks: 600

Paper 3 – AG-I, AG-II and AG-III

  • 50 objective type questions each of AG-I, AG-II and AG-III with a total of 150 questions.
  • Total marks: 600

Paper 4 – Aptitude Test for Architecture

  • Part A: Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity; Part B: Drawing Aptitude
  • 50 objective type questions each of Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity with a total of 100 questions and Two questions to test drawing aptitude.
  • Total marks: 500.

Paper 5 – Aptitude Test for General Awareness (BHMCT/BFAD/BFA)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.

Paper 6 – Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Engineering (Lateral Entry)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.

Paper 7 – Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.

Paper 8 – Aptitude Test for B.Sc. Graduates in Engineering (Lateral Entry)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.
