Date of exam – UP State Entrance Examination (SEE) 2015 exam date is April 18 and 19, 2015.

UPSEE 2015 application form is available both offline and online. The application form has been released on February 25th. Detailed official notification regarding application form of UPSEE 2015 has been announced. To apply for UPSEE 2015 check UPSEE Application Form 2015 page.

Official notification regarding conduct of the exam has been issued by UPTU Lucknow on its website. This notice briefly highlights that the date of exam is 18th April 2015, and 19th April 2015.

  • 2nd Year in B. Tech./B.Pharm./MCA (Lateral Entry)

UPSEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria

Course Subject combinations in qualifying exam
B.Tech.
  • Compulsory subjects: Physics, Mathematics
  • One of these subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject
B.Tech.(Bio-Technology)
  • Compulsory subjects: Physics, Mathematics / Biology
  • One of these subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Technical Vocational subject
B.Pharm.
  • Compulsory subjects: Physics, Chemistry
  • One of these subjects: Mathematics, Bio-Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject
B.Arch.
  • Compulsory subjects: Mathematics, Physics
  • One of these subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, Engineering Drawing, Technical Vocational subject
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engg.) Agricultural discipline. All candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech. Courses are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering).
BHMCT / BFAD/BFA Any Discipline

B.Tech. and B.Pharm

  • Candidate must have passed U. P. Board intermediate examination or class 10+2 examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University.
  • Candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together.

BHMCT/BFAD/BFA

  • Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University
  • Candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.

B. Arch.

  • Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University. Candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / State Govt, is also eligible
  • Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks and clearly passed without grace, each compulsory and optional subjects

UPSEE 2015 Exam Pattern

UPSEE 2015 will be conducted for Twelve papers with objective multiple type questions except Drawing Aptitude test (Part B of paper 4). The candidates are required to opt papers and subjects for appearing in the entrance examination, subject to their eligibility.

  • 50 questions in each subject. Total questions would be 150.
  • Total marks of the paper would be 600.

  • 50 objective type questions each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a total of 150 questions.
  • Total marks: 600

Paper 3 – AG-I, AG-II and AG-III

  • 50 objective type questions each of AG-I, AG-II and AG-III with a total of 150 questions.
  • Total marks: 600

Paper 4 – Aptitude Test for Architecture

  • Part A: Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity; Part B: Drawing Aptitude
  • 50 objective type questions each of Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity with a total of 100 questions and Two questions to test drawing aptitude.
  • Total marks: 500.

Paper 5 – Aptitude Test for General Awareness (BHMCT/BFAD/BFA)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.

Paper 6 – Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Engineering (Lateral Entry)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.

Paper 7 – Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.

Paper 8 – Aptitude Test for B.Sc. Graduates in Engineering (Lateral Entry)

  • The paper will contain 75 objective type questions.
  • Total marks: 300.

Paper 9 – Aptitude Test for MBA: 100 Objective Questions for 400 total marks

Mode of Admission

Admission to First Year: UPSEE 2015 Entrance for admission to first year of the following courses offered.

Direct Admission (Lateral Entry) to Second year of B.Tech / B.Pharma / MCA: The eligible candidates seeking direct admission to second year are are also required to appear in the specified paper of entrance examination. Such seats are limited to a maximum of 20% in addition to the sanctioned intake in institutions/ colleges for different courses at first year level. However for B.Tech./B.Pharm., students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the seats in this category with students of Diploma stream. Direct admission to second year shall not be made in B.Arch./BHMCT/BFAD/BFA Courses.

Seats Under Different Scheme in First Year:

  • Number of admissions in all courses will be only through UPSEE 2015 other then few excluded seats.
  • 15% of total sanctioned seats available in Private Institutions to be filled by the NRI candidates under Management quota. The remaining seats will be filled through UPSEE-2015 counselling.
  • 20% of total sanctioned seats available in all affiliated Private Institutions only to be filled by JEE (Main) merit for admission to Technology / Architecture courses; out of which 10% seats wil be filled through UP domicile candidates on UP State merit using state reservation policy, and the remaining of 10% seats will be filled through All India merit candidates without reservation.
  • 65% of the seats available in B.Tech./B.Arch. and 85% seats in the remaining courses at all Private Institutions will be filled by the UPSEE 2015 qualified candidates.

Admission to Non-Resident Indian (NRI): NRI candidates, may get direct admission on 5% seats of total intake in Govt. aided and Private Institutions for NRI seats on merit. The detailed information will be published later. The candidates, seeking for admission under this scheme, need not appear in UPSEE 2015. However applicants opting B.Arch. course under this category has to appear in an Aptitude Test on the day of counseling to be notified later.

Admission to Kashmiri Migrants in First Year: Direct admission to Kashmiri Migrants in first year in each institute is to be made as per the latest instructions of AICTE and orders from U.P. Govt. Such admissions will be over and above the sanctioned intake and normally limited upto one admission per Institute. The candidates, opting for admission under this scheme, need not appear in UPSEE.

Admission to FN / PIO / CIWGC: These supernumerary seats shall be exclusively meant for the FN/PIO/CIWGC students in undergraduate courses.The candidates, opting for admission under this scheme, need not appear in UPSEE 2015.
