CG Pre B.Ed 2027 Important Dates
Only the exam date is fixed so far; the other 2027 dates are expected months. In 2026 the form ran from 25 March to 24 April for an 11 June exam, so with the test moving to 2 May 2027, the form is expected between February and April 2027.

How to Apply for CG Pre B.Ed 2027
You apply online through the board’s website, cgssb.cgstate.gov.in, once the 2027 notification is out. The board renamed itself CGSSB in 2026; the forms are filled on its candidate profile portal, and the old vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in address opens the same site.

Applications for CG Pre B.Ed 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Open cgssb.cgstate.gov.in and find the Pre B.Ed 2027 online application link.
- Create your one-time candidate profile on the CG Vyapam profile portal, or log in if you already have one.
- Fill the Pre B.Ed form with your personal, category, domicile and graduation details.
- Upload your photo and signature in the size the notice asks for.
- Pay the fee online and submit the form.
- Print the confirmation page, and use the correction window if you need to fix a mistake.

These are the 2026 fees, as reported by Adda247, so check the 2027 notice for any change. Under Chhattisgarh government rules, the fee is refunded to local residents of Chhattisgarh who appear in the exam.
Who can apply for CG Pre B.Ed 2027?
You need a three-year bachelor’s or a master’s degree with at least 50% marks. These are the rules in the Chhattisgarh B.Ed Admission Rules 2006, as repeated in SCERT Chhattisgarh’s 2026 allotment guideline:
- A three-year graduation, post-graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks.
- Engineering graduates, and graduates with a degree other than B.A., B.Com. or B.Sc., need at least 55% marks.
- 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC, ST, OBC, women, ex-servicemen, freedom-fighter family and divyang candidates of Chhattisgarh.
- If your graduation marks are below 50%, you can qualify through your post-graduation marks (at least 50%).
- Honours graduates need 50% in the integrated (aggregate) marks of the degree.
- You must be at least 20 years old on 31 December of the admission year.
- State-quota seats need a Chhattisgarh permanent resident (domicile) certificate. Without it, you compete only for All India quota seats.
What is the CG Pre B.Ed 2027 exam pattern?
The test is one offline OMR paper of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, with no negative marking. The booklet allows 2 hours of answering time, and in 2026 the paper ran from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm in four sets, A to D.

How are B.Ed seats filled after the result?
SCERT Chhattisgarh fills B.Ed seats through online allotment on cgscert.admissions.nic.in, using the Pre B.Ed merit list from the board. It covers government, aided and private colleges of education recognised by NCTE.
You register with your Pre B.Ed roll number, pay a Rs 350 counselling fee, fill college choices and report to the allotted college with your documents. Seats go by merit rank, vacancy and your choices. In 2026 the allotment runs in two phases, from 5 August to 27 October 2026.
