Each of the 100 questions carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. The paper is a single offline OMR test, and in 2026 it ran from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm.

The syllabus is printed in the Pre D.El.Ed notification that the board posts on vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in. The 2027 notification is expected in March to April 2027, and until then the topic list above, based on the 2026 paper, is the best guide.
