Is CPNET 2027 being held?
There is no official sign of it. UPUMS Saifai has not published a CPNET notice, bulletin or result for 2026 on upums.ac.in, and nothing has been announced for 2027. The 18 June 2026 exam date seen on many websites came only from aggregator sites, not from UPUMS.
For the 2026-27 session, UPUMS Saifai’s B.Sc Nursing, GNM and allied health bachelor seats were filled through admissions run by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow. Each ABVMU bulletin says there is no direct admission outside its process. Unless UPUMS announces a new CPNET, plan for these ABVMU routes in 2027.

How to Apply for UPUMS Saifai Admission in 2027
You apply online on the ABVMU website, not on upums.ac.in. ABVMU runs a separate form for each course group, and UPUMS Saifai appears in its list of participating institutions.
Apply Online for CPNET 2027
Applications for CPNET 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Open abvmuup.edu.in when the 2027-28 entrance forms are announced (in 2026 they opened between March and May).
- Choose the right form: CNET for B.Sc Nursing, UPGET for GNM, or Allied & Healthcare admission for paramedical bachelor courses.
- Register with your own email ID and mobile number, then log in with the registration ID and password you receive.
- Fill in personal, address and Class 12 details, and upload your photo and signature.
- Pay the fee online and submit the form, then save a copy. Only limited fields can be edited in the correction window.

Who can apply for these routes in 2027?
Eligibility depends on the course. These are the 2026-27 rules from the ABVMU bulletins, and the 2027 bulletins may change them.
- B.Sc Nursing (CNET): Class 12 with at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together (40% for SC/ST/OBC) and a pass in English.
- GNM (UPGET): Class 12 with English and at least 40% marks, or a vocational ANM or healthcare stream, or a registered ANM. SC/ST candidates get 5% relaxation.
- Allied health bachelor courses: at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a pass in English. PCM students can apply only for Optometry and B.ASLP.
- Minimum age for all three: 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year.
- Government nursing college seats need a Uttar Pradesh domicile certificate.
What is the exam pattern of the tests that replaced CPNET?
Both ABVMU tests are pen-and-paper OMR exams in English and Hindi, with 1 mark per correct answer and no negative marking.
