Army AWES B.Sc Nursing 2027 is the Online Admission Test (OAT) that the Army Welfare Education Society uses to fill 150 B.Sc Nursing seats at Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati and Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt. It is for girls, mainly wards of Army, Air Force and Navy personnel. OAT-2027 is expected in June 2027.

AWES has not announced the OAT-2027 schedule, so the 2027 dates below are expected months based on 2026, when registration ran from 21 April to 31 May 2026 and the OAT was held on 14 June 2026.

How to Apply for Army AWES B.Sc Nursing 2027
You apply online on the OAT registration portal of Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati. One portal serves both colleges, and you pay a separate fee for each college you choose. The 2027 form is not open yet. No offline forms or posted documents are accepted.

Applications for Army AWES B.Sc Nursing 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Download and read the prospectus of the college you want (AIN Guwahati, ACN Jalandhar or both).
- Open the OAT registration portal and click Registration Form. Accept the declaration.
- Fill in your personal and Class 10 and 12 details. If you are taking Class 12 in 2027, choose the Appearing option.
- Choose the college or colleges and mark your order of priority. This choice cannot be changed later.
- Pick three OAT centres in order of preference from the 17 cities.
- Upload your proof of age, marksheet and the category certificate (Certificate No 1, 2 or 3, and No 4 if you claim gallantry weightage).
- Pay the fee online and check the preview carefully. No correction is allowed after you submit.

Who can apply for Army AWES B.Sc Nursing 2027?
Only girls can apply, and most seats are for daughters of Army personnel. These were the rules in the 2026-27 prospectuses:
- Female wards of serving Army, Air Force or Navy personnel with at least 10 years of service, of pensioned ex-servicemen, and of widows of such personnel. Adopted and step wards, and wards of APS, MNS and TA members, are covered under set conditions.
- AIN Guwahati also admits civilian girls domiciled in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland or Tripura (5 seats).
- 10+2 passed in the first attempt as a regular student with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- At least 45% marks: in PCB and English together for AIN; in PCB together with a pass in English for ACN.
- Age at least 17 years on 31 December of the admission year. AIN also sets an upper limit of 35 years, as per INC.
- A score of at least the 50th percentile in the OAT.
- Medically fit, certified on the form given in the prospectus (Certificate No 5).
Candidates with compartment, supplementary, repeater, private or open-board Class 12 results are not eligible. Class 12 students taking the board exam in 2027 can apply, but must show passing marks at counselling.
How many seats are there at AIN Guwahati and ACN Jalandhar?
There are 150 seats in all: 50 at AIN Guwahati and 100 at ACN Jalandhar, whose intake rose from 60 to 100 from 2025-26.

AIN is affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Assam, and ACN to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Both colleges say admission does not guarantee a job in the Military Nursing Service.
What is the Army AWES B.Sc Nursing 2027 exam pattern?
The OAT is a 2-hour online test of 100 multiple-choice questions in five parts of 20 marks each, set at Class 11 and 12 level. See the Army AWES B.Sc Nursing syllabus for what to study in each part.

In 2026 the test was held at 17 centres: Jalandhar, Delhi, Jammu, Bangalore, Trivandrum, Chennai, Nagpur, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Guwahati, Secunderabad, Srinagar, Dehradun and Ambala. Evaluation is by computer, so there is no re-evaluation.
How is the Army AWES B.Sc Nursing merit list made?
Admission is strictly on OAT marks, with extra weightage for wards of gallantry award winners. Separate merit lists are made for each college, and if you applied to both you are offered a seat in the order of priority you gave in the form.
- Gallantry weightage of 1% to 5% is added to the OAT score, for example 5% for wards of Param Vir Chakra or Ashok Chakra winners and of war widows. It must be claimed in the form.
- If marks tie, the candidate with more PCB marks in Class 12 ranks higher, then more OAT Biology marks, then the older candidate.
- Selected candidates attend counselling with original documents and a medical certificate.
