What are the qualifying marks for ETT Punjab?
You need at least 50% marks in aggregate to qualify, which is 50 out of 100. SC, BC and physically handicapped candidates get 5% relaxation, so they need 45.

What is the expected ETT Punjab 2027 cut off?

How is the ETT Punjab merit list made?
The merit list ranks qualified candidates by their entrance test marks. If two candidates have equal marks, the one with higher graduation marks ranks higher, then the one with higher 10+2 marks, and then the older candidate.
Counselling seats are reserved by category under the state policy, including SC, BC, EWS, ex-servicemen, freedom fighter, sports and physically handicapped quotas.
What happens after the ETT Punjab result?
SCERT Punjab holds counselling for DIET seats and 60% of seats in private colleges. In 2025 the first round ran from 15 to 24 October 2025, with categories called on set days by marks, and a second round followed from 6 to 10 November 2025.

- Keep your graduation and Class 10 and 12 marksheets, residence, category and age proof ready.
- A district committee led by the DIET principal checks documents of candidates allotted a seat.
- Pay the course fee: Rs 8,500 a year in DIETs and Rs 40,000 a year in private colleges for counselling-quota seats (2025-27 rates).
The other 40% of private college seats are filled by the colleges as management quota, also from qualified candidates.
