IGNOU will upload the B.Ed 2027 answer key as a PDF on its website after the entrance test for the January 2027 batch, and you can email queries on it for about a week. In 2026 the key came out on 20 April for the 29 March test, so the 2027 key is expected in March or April 2027.

How to Check the IGNOU B.Ed Answer Key 2027

The answer key is a public PDF on the IGNOU website; you do not need to log in.

  1. Open the IGNOU website (ignou.ac.in) and go to the Announcements section.
  2. Find the notice titled with the B.Ed. Entrance Test answer key.
  3. Open the answer key PDF. In 2026 it listed the answer number (1 to 4) for questions 1 to 180.
  4. Match the answers for Part A (questions 1 to 80) and for your Part B subject block.

How do you raise a query on the IGNOU B.Ed answer key?

You email your query to [email protected] before the deadline in IGNOU’s notice. In 2026 the window ran from 20 April to 26 April, 6:00 PM, and IGNOU said no query would be taken after that. The notice did not mention any fee for a query.

How do you calculate your IGNOU B.Ed score?

Each question carries one mark, so your likely score is the number of answers that match the key.

  • Count your correct answers in Part A, questions 1 to 80 (maximum 80).
  • Count your correct answers in your Part B subject only: Science 81 to 100, Mathematics 101 to 120, Social Science 121 to 140, English 141 to 160 or Hindi 161 to 180 (maximum 20).
  • Add the two to get your score out of 100. A question where you marked more than one answer gets no credit.

When will the IGNOU B.Ed 2027 answer key be released?
No date is announced. The 2025 key came out on 24 March, eight days after the test, and the 2026 key on 20 April, three weeks after it.
Is there a fee to challenge the IGNOU B.Ed answer key?
The 2025 and 2026 notices only asked candidates to email their queries to [email protected] and did not mention a fee.
Why does the IGNOU B.Ed answer key have 180 questions?
The booklet has 80 Part A questions and five Part B subjects of 20 questions each. You answer Part A and one subject, so your paper has 100 questions.
