How to Check the Jharkhand B.Ed 2027 Result
- Open the JCECEB website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Go to the Result column on the homepage.
- Select the B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2027.
- Follow the instructions on screen and enter the details asked for.
- Download your result and keep a printout for counselling.
How is the Jharkhand B.Ed merit list prepared?
The state merit list is based only on your marks in the entrance exam, worked out from the final answer keys. When two or more candidates have the same marks, JCECEB breaks the tie in this order:
- Candidate with an NCC ‘C’ or NSS certificate
- Older candidate (earlier date of birth)
- First name in Hindi alphabetical order
- More correct answers in the exam
JCECEB does not publish closing ranks or cut-off marks in its notices, so no official cut off is available.
What happens at Jharkhand B.Ed counselling?
Candidates on the state merit list take part in online counselling through the JCECEB online counselling link. In 2026 there were four rounds from July to September and a special round in October 2026.
- Register online and fill your choices of institutions; there is no limit on the number of choices.
- Pay the non-refundable counselling fee online (Rs 400 for General, EWS, BC-I and BC-II; Rs 250 for SC, ST and all women in 2026).
- Download the provisional seat allotment letter on the date given in the schedule.
- Report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission within the dates given.
Seats are split 85% for candidates who passed from universities in Jharkhand and 15% open. If you take a new seat in a later round, your earlier admission is cancelled automatically.
