MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET 2027: Date, Form, Eligibility

MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET 2027 is the online entrance test State CET Cell, Maharashtra holds for the three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed course for 2027-28. It is open to postgraduates. The 2027 dates are not out yet. Going by 2026, registration should open in January 2027 and the exam should be held in April 2027.

Latest (30 September 2026): State CET Cell has started work on its 2027-28 tests, including the B.Ed-M.Ed Integrated CET, by inviting question paper setters. MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET 2027 dates are not announced yet.

How to Apply for MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET 2027

You apply for MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET 2027 online only, through the registration link State CET Cell posts on cetcell.mahacet.org. The form has not opened yet. In 2026 registration ran from 9 January to 3 March 2026 after three extensions, and an edit window followed from 9 to 11 March 2026.

Update your Aadhaar details and create your APAAR ID through DigiLocker before you start. APAAR ID is mandatory for CET registration, and PwD candidates also need a valid UDID card.
Open cetcell.mahacet.org, click the MAH-B.Ed.M.Ed. (Integrated) CET 2027 link when it goes live and choose New Registration.
Enter your name, mobile number and email ID. Note the provisional registration number and password shown on screen; they are also sent by email and SMS.
Fill in your personal, postgraduate degree and category details and choose your exam centre preference. All centres are in Maharashtra.
Upload your photo (JPG, 20 to 50 KB) and signature (JPG, 10 to 20 KB, not in capital letters), preview the form and click Final Submit.
Pay the fee online and print the form with the fee details. You will need it, the fee receipt and the hall ticket at admission.

The fee below is from the 2026 brochure. It is non-refundable, and the 2027 brochure will confirm the new fee. A form filled for this CET cannot be used for any other course.

Who can apply for MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET 2027?

You can apply if you are an Indian national with a postgraduate degree in Science, Social Sciences or Humanities and the minimum marks below. A bachelor’s degree alone is not enough. These rules are from the 2026 brochure, and there is no upper age limit.

Open category, outside Maharashtra (OMS) and J&K migrant candidates: at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the PG degree. EWS candidates follow the Open rule.
Backward class candidates belonging to Maharashtra (SC, ST, DT-VJ, NT, OBC, SBC): at least 50% marks.
Your PG subject should be a science (such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany or Zoology), a social science (such as History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Education or Library Science) or a language and its literature.
Candidates taking their final PG exam in April-May can apply, but must have the minimum marks by admission.
A shown interest or experience in education is listed as desirable, not essential.

NRI, OCI, PIO, foreign national and CIWGC candidates do not take the CET. They register directly for CAP and get their documents checked by the expert committee.

What is the MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET 2027 exam pattern?

MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET is a 90-minute online test of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, in English and Marathi. Each question has four options and carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.

Which college admits students through MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET?

The 2026 brochure lists one institute, the Department of Education, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, with an approved intake of 50. The 2026 CAP portal showed 55 seats in all: 50 through CAP and 5 for EWS and J&K candidates.

Is MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET the same as MAH B.Ed CET?

No. MAH B.Ed CET is for the two-year B.Ed and needs only a bachelor’s degree. The B.Ed-M.Ed CET is a separate test for the three-year integrated course and needs a PG degree. In 2026 the two were held on different dates.

What will I study in the integrated B.Ed-M.Ed course?

It is a full-time course of three academic years, including two summers, that leads to a dual B.Ed-M.Ed degree. You specialise in elementary education (Standard I to VIII) or secondary and senior secondary education (Standard VI to XII).

Where are the MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET exam centres?

In 2026 State CET Cell planned centres at Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Solapur. There are no centres outside Maharashtra, and a centre with very few candidates can be cancelled.

How do I get a seat after the MAH B.Ed M.Ed CET result?

You register separately for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), get your documents checked, fill the option form and accept a seat in one of the allotment rounds. In 2026 CAP registration ran from 16 June to 14 July 2026.
