A merit list of all the candidates eligible for the counselling process would be released,
- Candidates would be allotted rank in the merit list according to their performance in the entrance exam.
- Seats would be allotted on the basis of candidate’s rank, native district, and reservation criteria

Selection Procedure would comprise of two parts –

- Meghalaya D.El.Ed Counselling
The selection of candidates would purely be on the basis of their performance in the test.
Furthermore, Applicants were instructed to only fill applications for the district they are a permanent residents of. This will be validated against the Proof of address [Voter ID Card] at the time of counselling, failing which their candidature will be rejected.
