How to Apply for Meghalaya D.El.Ed 2027
You apply only online on dert.megeducation.gov.in after DERT issues the 2027-29 notice, expected in May 2027. Forms sent in any other way are rejected, and a form without the photo, signature and fee is rejected automatically.

Applications for Meghalaya D.El.Ed 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Read the DERT notice and check that you meet the eligibility rules.
- Keep a valid email ID and mobile number ready, and scan a recent colour passport size photo and your signature in JPG format, each under 100 KB.
- Fill in the online application form on dert.megeducation.gov.in and choose the DIET of the district where you are a permanent resident.
- Upload your photo and signature. You can also upload them later through the Upload Enclosures link.
- Pay the fee online by net banking, debit card or credit card, or generate an e-challan and pay cash at any State Bank of India branch.
- Download the acknowledgement slip and keep it until counselling.

Who can apply for Meghalaya D.El.Ed 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Meghalaya who has passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks. The rules below are from the 2026-28 notice; DERT may update them for 2027.
