MiNCET 2027 will not be held. Mithibai College and NM College in Mumbai did not hold the Mithibai Narsee Monjee Common Entrance Test for 2026-27. First-year UG seats are now filled through the University of Mumbai pre-enrolment form, a common SVKM college form and Class 12 merit lists, expected in May and June 2027. BMS needs the State CET.

This page explains how to get into Mithibai and NM College now that MiNCET is not held: the admission route for each programme, dates, eligibility, the merit list and BMS admission.

Is MiNCET 2027 being held?
No. Mithibai College and NM College did not hold MiNCET for 2026-27 and have announced no MiNCET for 2027-28. The last edition we could confirm was in 2022, when it was an online test held in June. For 2026-27 both colleges filled first-year UG seats through a common online form and merit lists on Class 12 marks.

How to Apply to Mithibai and NM College for 2027-28
You fill two online forms: the University of Mumbai pre-enrolment form and the common SVKM college admission form. In 2026 both opened on 8 May and closed on 23 and 24 May 2026, so the 2027 forms are expected in May 2027.
Apply Online for MiNCET 2027
Applications for MiNCET 2027 are expected in January 2027.
- Fill the University of Mumbai pre-enrolment form on muugadmission.samarth.edu.in, choosing the autonomous college category.
- Register once on the SVKM admission portal linked from the Mithibai homepage. One user ID lets you apply to Mithibai, NM and UPG colleges for every programme you want.
- For a programme offered by more than one of these colleges, apply through one college only and give your college preference.
- Enter your total Class 12 marks, not best of five, and your name exactly as on the Class 12 marksheet. Use a working email ID.
- Pay the Rs 500 admission processing fee online. Without it your form is not considered for the merit list.
- Save both forms, check the merit lists on mithibai.ac.in, and complete document verification and fee payment in the window given for your list.

You also need an APAAR / Academic Bank of Credits ID. Students from international boards must bring a Prima Facie or eligibility certificate from the University of Mumbai at admission.
Who can apply for Mithibai and NM College UG programmes?
Anyone who has passed Class 12 from the Maharashtra board, another Indian state board or an equivalent board, but many self-financed programmes ask for 60% aggregate. The rules below are from Mithibai College’s 2026-27 eligibility notice.

How is the Mithibai and NM College merit list prepared?
On your total Class 12 marks across all subjects, not your best five. In 2026 Mithibai published three merit lists, on 26 May, 30 May and 4 June 2026, each followed by a few days of document verification and fee payment at the college.
If your name is on a list, report within that list’s window or the seat moves on to the next list. The college can cancel an admission if any uploaded document does not match.
How do you get BMS admission at Mithibai or NM College?
Through the MAH BCA BBA BMS BBM CET conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell, not MiNCET. From 2026-27, BMS needs a pass in this CET along with 60% in Class 12, and NM College filled its BMS seats through CAP rounds and institute-level rounds.
The 2027 CET is expected in April 2027, with registration expected from January 2027. Register on time, because a strong Class 12 score alone will not get you a BMS seat.
Is there a MiNCET admit card, answer key or result?
No. Since there is no test, Mithibai and NM College do not issue a MiNCET admit card, answer key or scorecard. What you check instead is the college merit list on mithibai.ac.in, and for BMS, the State CET Cell’s admit card and result for the MAH BCA BBA BMS BBM CET.
