Is there a NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027 entrance exam?
No. NEIGRIHMS does not hold its own written test for B.Sc. Nursing. The 2026-27 prospectus says selection is on a merit list prepared from marks in NEET (UG), and counselling carries no marks of its own. The 2027-28 round is expected to follow the same rule with NEET (UG) 2027 scores.
This is not new for 2025-26, as older pages said. NEIGRIHMS already ran its first 2024-25 B.Sc. Nursing counselling on NEET scores, calling candidates with 391 marks and above. So you only need to prepare for NEET (UG), which the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts.

How to Apply for NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027
You apply online only, through the link on neigrihms.gov.in, which in 2026 opened the B.Sc. Nursing service on the Meghalaya e-District portal. Apply after your NEET (UG) 2027 result, because the form asks for your NEET admit card and scorecard.
Apply Online for NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027
Applications for NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027 are expected in July 2027.
- Open the NEIGRIHMS website and click the online application link for B.Sc. Nursing 2027-28 once the prospectus is out.
- Register on the e-District portal, then log in with the email ID you registered and the password you set.
- Go to Apply Services, click View all available services, search for B.Sc and open Application for B.Sc. Nursing.
- Read the instructions, fill in the form and upload the documents listed below.
- Pay the application processing fee and submit the form before the last date. Incomplete forms are rejected without notice.

Who can apply for NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027?
You can apply if you meet all of these conditions from the 2026-27 prospectus, with NEET (UG) 2027 in place of NEET (UG) 2026:
- Passed 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Core from a recognised board (CBSE, ICSE, a state board or equivalent).
- At least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, and a pass in English.
- At least 17 years old on or before 31 December of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.
- Appeared in NEET (UG) and qualified for admission to B.Sc. Nursing.
- Indian citizen, medically fit, and never found guilty of misconduct or convicted of an offence.
Foreign nationals apply for 12 supernumerary seats on the same eligibility. They are exempt from the entrance test but must send a printed form with documents through the diplomatic channel; direct applications are not accepted.
How are NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027 candidates selected?
Seats go strictly in order of NEET (UG) marks among the candidates who applied to NEIGRIHMS. The steps in the 2026-27 round were:
- NEIGRIHMS publishes the list of applicants on its website.
- It fixes a NEET cut-off score and publishes the list of candidates called for counselling, in merit order, with NEET marks, percentile and All India Rank.
- At counselling, candidates are called in merit order. After document checks, seats are allotted one by one until all 50 are filled.
- Selected candidates take a medical examination and pay the fees the same day. Anyone who fails loses the seat to the next candidate on the waiting list.
- If seats remain vacant, a second counselling is notified. In 2026, candidates called to the first counselling who did not attend were not eligible for the second.
Being called for counselling does not guarantee a seat. The decision of the Director, NEIGRIHMS on selection is final.
What is the expected NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027 cut off?
NEIGRIHMS does not publish a cut-off in advance. These are the minimum NEET (UG) scores it called for counselling in recent years, from its official notices.

This is the score for being called to counselling, not the closing score of the last admitted candidate. The 2027 figure will depend on NEET (UG) 2027 marks and the number of applicants.
What documents should you carry for NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027 counselling?
Bring the originals and one set of photocopies of these documents, as listed in the 2026 counselling notice. Admission is not finalised without every original.
- NEET (UG) rank letter cum scorecard and NEET (UG) admit card.
- Class 12 pass certificate and marksheet.
- Age proof showing your date of birth.
- Migration certificate from the board or university you last attended.
- Character and conduct certificate from the head of your last school or a gazetted officer.
- Three recent colour passport-size photographs.
Certificates in a language other than Hindi or English need a translation certified by a gazetted officer. NEIGRIHMS sends no individual call letter or phone call, so check the website for the counselling list and date yourself.
What are the B.Sc Nursing seats and fees at NEIGRIHMS?
NEIGRIHMS has 50 B.Sc. Nursing seats a year at its College of Nursing in Shillong. Supernumerary seats are added on top for students of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh under the Pradhan Mantri Uchhatar Shiksha Protsahan Yojana (allotted by AICTE) and 12 seats for foreign nationals.
The course runs for 8 semesters including internship, is taught in English on the Indian Nursing Council syllabus, and leads to a degree from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). It is fully residential, and every admitted student gets hostel accommodation.

At the 2026 counselling, selected candidates paid Rs 16,400 including security deposits, the Rs 3,000 SNA fee and the first quarter’s mess fee. NEHU university fees and uniform fees are collected separately, and fees once paid are not refunded except to students found medically unfit.
Is there a NEIGRIHMS B.Sc Nursing 2027 admit card or result?
No. NEIGRIHMS issues no admit card of its own. The only hall ticket you need is the NEET (UG) 2027 admit card from NTA, and you upload it with your application and carry it to counselling.
There is also no separate NEIGRIHMS result or scorecard. Your NEET (UG) 2027 scorecard is your score. NEIGRIHMS then publishes these lists on neigrihms.gov.in, as it did in 2026:

- List of shortlisted candidates called for counselling, in order of NEET merit.
