Rajasthan PBPED 2026 (Pre B.P.Ed. admission process) is the centralised admission to the two-year B.P.Ed course in physical education colleges across Rajasthan for session 2026-27. The University of Rajasthan, Jaipur runs it as the state nodal agency. There is no written test. Applications have closed, and the fitness test is on 13-21 November 2026.

PBPED 2026 Important Dates
The PBPED 2026 notice came on 19 September 2026 and the online form ran from 22 September to 10 October 2026. The B.P.Ed. physical fitness test is scheduled from 13 to 21 November 2026; the merit list and counselling dates will be posted on uniofraj.org.

How did the Rajasthan PBPED 2026 application work?
Applications for PBPED 2026 are closed. The online form at uniofraj.org (or through an e-Mitra kiosk) opened on 22 September 2026. The last date moved from 30 September to 5 October, and then finally to 10 October 2026 (notice no. 36 of 5 October), with a form correction window on 11 and 12 October. Handwritten forms were not accepted.
Apply Online for Rajasthan PBPED 2026
The Rajasthan PBPED 2026 application window (22 September to 10 October 2026) has closed.
- Read the B.P.Ed. 2026 guidelines and check that you meet the eligibility rules.
- Open the B.P.Ed. Admission link on uniofraj.org and register.
- Fill in your name and your parents’ names exactly as on your board marksheets, and give your own mobile number and email.
- Enter your graduation marks, any C.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed. diploma, and the marks of your single best sports certificate.
- Check the preview carefully, then pay the Rs 1,100 fee by debit card, net banking, UPI or e-Mitra.
- Print three copies of the submitted form and keep them for the physical fitness test and admission.

If you pay the registration fee but get no seat, Rs 500 is deducted and the rest refunded. If you get a college but do not join even after upward movement, Rs 1,000 is deducted.
Who can apply for PBPED 2026?
You can apply if you are a graduate who meets any one of the routes below, as laid down by the NCTE and repeated in the 2026 guidelines.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks, plus participation in inter-college, inter-zonal, district or school level competitions in a sport recognised by AIU, IOA, SGFI or the Government of India.
- B.P.E. (three-year degree) with at least 45% marks.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and physical education as a compulsory or elective subject.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and participation at national, inter-university or state level, or a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place at inter-college, inter-zonal, district or school level.
- Graduation with participation in international competitions, or a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place at national, inter-university or state level.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and at least three years of teaching as an in-service physical education teacher or coach.
Reserved-category candidates get a 5% relaxation in these marks. Final-year graduation students can apply, but must show the original final-year marksheet or verified online result on the fitness test or document verification day.

- Age is counted as on 30 June 2026.
- Candidates from other states are treated as General category.
- You must be physically and mentally fit, with a fitness certificate from a government medical officer issued within 15 days before the test.
- 30 seats are kept for in-service physical education teachers with a C.P.Ed. in government or recognised institutions, filled by seniority; unused seats go to general merit.
- Government or autonomous body employees need a no objection certificate.
How are candidates selected for PBPED 2026?
PBPED 2026 has no written exam. Selection is in two stages: a qualifying physical fitness test, then a 100-mark merit list built from your graduation marks, sports diplomas and sports certificates.

How many marks does each sports certificate give?
Only your single highest-scoring certificate counts, so enter just that one in the form. Certificates must come from school, university or board-run competitions; open tournaments earn no marks.

Players in internationally recognised (AIU) sports may get admission even outside the merit, if they meet the minimum eligibility and pass the fitness test.
