How the TG EdCET Paper Changed (2019–2026)
- 2019 and 2020: a separate paper for each B.Ed methodology: English, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences and Social Studies, each for 150 marks in 120 minutes.
- 2021 onwards: one common paper for all candidates, with five sections including Computer Awareness. You choose the methodology later, at counselling.
- 2025: the paper first carried the TG EdCET name; papers up to 2024 say TS EdCET.
How to Use TG EdCET Previous Year Papers?
- Work at 48 seconds a question. 150 questions in 120 minutes leaves little spare time. Answer the 20 Computer Awareness and 20 English questions quickly to save time for the 60 subject questions.
- Answer all 150. TG EdCET gives 0 for a wrong answer, so a guess can only help. Leave nothing blank.
- Revise Class 10 Telangana textbooks. The 60 subject questions come from the Class 10 syllabus. Use the subject parts of the 2021 to 2026 papers to see which chapters repeat.
- Solve 2026, 2025 and 2024 first, then 2023 and 2021. That is 13 common papers in the current pattern. Use the 2019 and 2020 methodology papers only for subject practice.
- Plan for May 2027. About six months remain, with applications expected from February 2027. Two papers a month covers all 13 current-pattern papers before the test.
