How to Apply for Uttarakhand B.Sc Nursing 2027
You apply online only, through the nursing/paramedical entrance link on hnbumu.ac.in, once the 2027 brochure is out (expected in May 2027). In 2026 the form was filled on the emsecure.in portal used for all HNBUMU nursing and paramedical entrance exams, and the fee was charged per course.
Apply Online for Uttarakhand B.Sc Nursing 2027
Applications for Uttarakhand B.Sc Nursing 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Open hnbumu.ac.in and click the nursing/paramedical entrance 2027 application link.
- Register with your mobile number and email ID, and note your login details. You need them for the admit card, result and counselling.
- Choose B.Sc Nursing as the course. You can add other HNBUMU courses, but each needs a separate fee.
- Fill in your personal, category, domicile and Class 10 and 12 details, and the details of a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, voter ID, PAN, driving licence or a photo ID issued by your last school principal).
- Pick at least three exam centres in order of preference. You cannot change the centre later.
- Upload your photo, signature and the documents asked for, then pay the fee online.
- Print the completed form and keep it. Quote your application number in all letters to HNBUMU.

The fee is not refunded in any case and is not carried over to a later year. To correct your form you submit a fresh one during the registration window for Rs 200 each time, and the earlier form is cancelled. Category or sub-category cannot be changed after you apply.
Who can apply for Uttarakhand B.Sc Nursing 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian citizen, medically fit, at least 17 years old on 31 December of the admission year, and have passed Class 12 science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. These are the 2026 rules; the 2027 brochure will confirm them.
- Class 12: pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English separately, with at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- SC and ST candidates of Uttarakhand get a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks.
- Class 12 science from NIOS is accepted on the same subject and marks rule.
- Government college seats and state quota seats in private colleges: you must be an Uttarakhand domicile, or have passed Class 10 and 12 from a board in Uttarakhand. Non-domicile candidates who studied in Uttarakhand can sit the exam but cannot claim reserved seats.
- Private college seats outside the state quota are open to candidates from any recognised board who meet the subject and marks rule.
- Reservation benefits are given only to Uttarakhand domicile candidates with certificates issued by the state government.
- If you are appearing in Class 12 this year you can apply, but you must show the pass certificate at counselling.
What is the Uttarakhand B.Sc Nursing 2027 exam pattern?
The paper has 100 objective questions worth 1 mark each, to be finished in 2 hours, with no negative marking. Questions are set at Class 12 level in five sections of 20 questions each. The topics are on the Uttarakhand B.Sc Nursing syllabus page.

- The exam is offline: you mark answers on an OMR sheet with a black ballpoint pen that the university provides.
- Each question has four options with one correct answer. A wrong, blank or multiple-marked answer gets zero.
- The question paper is set in both Hindi and English.
- As per Indian Nursing Council norms you need at least the 50th percentile (General), 40th percentile (SC, ST and OBC) or 45th percentile (General PwD) to qualify for admission.
