Uttarakhand Nursing Admission 2018 is to be conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU). The University conducts the entrance examination for admission to various Nursing courses such as B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, Pre ANM and GNM for the academic year 2018. The admission to the above courses will be on the basis of the merit in the written examination. Candidates on the basis of the merit rank, preferences given and availability of seat will be allotted seat.

Interested candidates can apply for Uttarakhand Nursing Admission 2018 through online mode only. Candidates need to fill in the required details and submit the duly completed application form before the last date. Only those will be able to download their Admit card who will submit the online application before due date. Eligibility Criteria for HNBUMU Nursing Admission 2018

For ANM/ GNM Programme is as follows:

  1. The applicant should be a citizen of India.
  2. Should be medically fit.
  3. Such permanent / native resident candidates of Uttarakhand State who should have passed both high school and 10+2 or equivalent examinations from any accredited educational institute located in Uttarakhand state. OR
  • Such candidates who are not permanent / native resident of Uttarakhand State should have passed both high school and 10+2 or equivalent examinations from any recognized educational institute situated in Uttarakhand state. OR
  • Such permanent / non-resident candidates of Uttarakhand State by whom one or both of the high school and 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations or both examinations have passed from any recognized institute of education located outside of Uttarakhand state.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit for Uttarakhand Nursing Admission 2018 is 17 years and maximum age limit is 35 years.

Educational Qualification

ANM

  • The candidates should have passed 10 + 2 examination for ANM course (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Social Sciences, Psychology and Philosophy) With English as the main or an alternative subject or science or health care sciences – only in the vocational stream someone must be passed by the board.
  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) with Arts or Science subjects, will also be eligible for admission in ANM course.

GNM

  • Should have passed 10+2 Examination with minimum 40% marks for GNM (mathematics, biotechnology, economics, politics, science, history, geography, business studies, accounting, home science, social sciences, psychology and philosophy) with English as the main or alternative subject or Health Care Sciences – only by a recognized board in the vocational stream or from AISSCE/ CBSE / ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or equivalent board.
  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) with minimum 40% marks Arts or Science subjects, will also be eligible for admission in GNM course.

For B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing/ M.Sc Nursing programmes

Age Limit: Candidates of B.Sc.Course Nursing Examination should have completed 17 years of age.

Educational Qualification

B.Sc Nursing

  • Such candidates who are permanent / original resident candidates of Uttarakhand State, by which both the High School and 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations have been received from the ISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSC Board or any other recognized Board located in Uttarakhand State. The candidates should have studied science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 10+2 and should be passed separately with English as main / elective subject. The applicant should have obtained 45% marks in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 10 + 2 exam, OR
  • Candidates, who are not residents of Uttarakhand state, and those who have passed both SSC and 10 + 2 or equivalent exams from ISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSC board or other recognized board in Uttarakhand state with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry Biology) in 10+2 with English as a main / elective subject. The candidates should have passed each subject separately and have obtained minimum 45% marks in science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). However, such candidates shall not a reserved seat, OR
  • Such Permanent / Native Resident candidates of Uttarakhand State by which both the Secondary School and 10+2 or equivalent examinations have been passed from ISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSC Board or any other recognized Board in Uttarakhand State, in which candidates should have studied Science in 10 + 2 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English as main / elective subject. The applicant should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

  • Such permanent / non-resident candidates of Uttarakhand State by whom both the HSC and 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations have been passed from any accredited nursing school in Uttarakhand state, OR
  • Such permanent / native resident candidates of Uttarakhand State, who have passed HSC, 10 + 2 and GMN, all three or any one or two exams of the exams from any accredited educational institution located outside the state of Uttarakhand, OR
  • Such candidates, who are not permanent/native residents of the Uttarakhand state and by whom both the HSCs and 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations are passed from an accredited nursing school situated in the state of Uttarakhand, after passing a recognized educational institution located in Uttarakhand state. However, such candidates shall not be allowed to claim a reserved seat.

M.Sc Nursing

  • Candidates should have passed B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing examination with minimum 55% average marks from any accredited college / institute in Uttarakhand state and should be the original / permanent resident of Uttarakhand state, OR
  • Such candidates who have passed B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Examination with minimum 55% (45% in case of SC/ST) from the recognized colleges / institutes located outside Uttarakhand State and the applicants should be the original / permanent resident of Uttarakhand State, OR
  • Candidates who are not resident / native resident of Uttarakhand state and who have passed B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing examination with minimum 55% average marks (45% in case of SC/ST) from any accredited college / institute in the state of Uttarakhand, will be eligible to sit for the examination but they will not claim a reserved seat.
  • B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc, the nursing institute should have accreditation from the INC / Associated State Nursing Council.
  • After completing the B.Sc Nursing examination, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, the candidates should have a work experience of 01 year.

Some Additional Eligibility Requirement for admission to B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing/ M.Sc Nursing programmes

  1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in science stream from NIOS (National Institute of Open School) will also be eligible for B.Sc. For this, it would be mandatory to get 45% marks in the 10 + 2 examination.
  2. In order to apply for post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing course, the pre-compulsory Nursing qualification of the candidate must be registered in the concerned State Nursing Council.

Uttarakhand Nursing 2018 Application Form

  1. The application form for Uttarakhand Nursing Admission 2018 for B.Sc Nursing /Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, ANM and GNM for the academic session 2018 shall be available online.
  2. In the online application form, applicants need to enter their Personal Details, Educational Qualification Details and other details in the online application form.
  3. The candidates shall also be required to upload their passport size photograph, signature and any valid ID proof, such as PAN Card, Voter ID card, Driving License, Aadhar Card, ID card from the last institute attended with photograph, etc.
  4. Next. after filling in all the details and uploading the necessary images, candidates can proceed to make payment for the online application.
  5. As per last year’s information is considered, the application fees for Uttarakhand Nursing Admission 2018 shall be paid by online mode via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or through E-challan.
  6. Applicants who will choose the mode of payment as e-challan, they shall have to submit the e-challan along with the hardcopy of the application form at the University campus.

Uttarakhand Nursing 2018 Admit Card

The admit card for Uttarakhand Nursing Admission 2018 will be available on the HNBUMU University website. Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam without the Admit Card. The HNBUMU 2018 Nursing Admit Card will consist of the details of the examination. It is advised to candidates to preserve their Admit Card as it shall be required at the later stages of admission.

Uttarakhand Nursing 2018 Result

Uttarakhand Nursing Examination-2018 Result will be declared by the University on their website. Also, the notification for declaring the test result will be published in the prevalent newspapers. Candidate can check their result (score card) through online mode by entering the relevant login credentials. Candidates will not receive their score card by post. The admission will be granted to the candidates solely on the basis of the merit in the entrance examination.

Uttarakhand Nursing 2018 Counselling

After the publication of the HNBUMU Nursing 2018 Merit List, the candidate whose name appears in the merit list will be eligible to participate for the Uttarakhand Nursing Counselling. The University shall conduct online counselling. Candidates first need to register for the online counselling and pay the requisite counselling fee by online mode. It is important that the selected candidates should appear for the counselling in person as per the schedule. At the time of counselling, candidates need to bring the relevant documents in proof of claims.
