AIET 2026 Syllabus – NLU Delhi All India Entrance Test Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Books

AIET 2026 Syllabus is prescribed by National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) for the All India Entrance Test conducted for admission to the PGIP (MA/LL.M. in Insolvency), the Joint Master’s/LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Management, and the Ph.D. Programme. The AIET Syllabus 2026 covers three sections: Section A – English (common to both M.A. and LL.M. streams), Section B – Analytical and Logical Reasoning (for M.A.) or Legal Reasoning (for LL.M.), and Section C – Intellectual Property Rights (Non-Legal) for M.A. or Intellectual Property Law for LL.M. The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions of 100 marks, with a duration of 120 minutes and a negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. AIET 2026 Syllabus

The AIET 2026 Syllabus is designed by NLU Delhi to test candidates’ proficiency in English, reasoning ability (analytical/logical or legal), and knowledge of Intellectual Property – either non-legal aspects (for M.A.) or law (for LL.M.). The syllabus reflects the specialised nature of the postgraduate programmes offered through AIET. Section A is common, while Sections B and C differ across the M.A. and LL.M. streams. AIET 2026 Exam Pattern

Section A – English (Common to M.A. and LL.M.)

This section tests basic and intermediate proficiency in English language and comprehension. It carries 25 marks and contains 25 questions.
