What is the AIL LET 2027 syllabus?
The official AIL LET syllabus is the section list in the prospectus: four sections, 50 questions and 50 marks each. AIL does not publish a detailed topic list.

What should you study for each AIL LET section?
Because AIL names only the sections, prepare the areas that law entrance tests at the Class 12 level usually cover.
- Mental Ability: series, coding-decoding, analogies, blood relations, directions, syllogisms and simple puzzles.
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs: national and international news of the past year, Indian polity, history, geography, economy and science basics.
- Law Aptitude: applying a given legal principle to facts, basic terms, the Constitution of India and major court rulings in the news.
- General English: reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms, and sentence correction.

If two candidates have the same marks, the one with higher marks in the qualifying exam ranks higher; if still tied, the older candidate ranks higher.

How to Prepare for AIL LET 2027
- Read a newspaper daily and revise a monthly current affairs digest for the General Knowledge section.
- Practise legal reasoning passages from law entrance books to build speed in Law Aptitude.
- Do 20 to 30 reasoning questions a day for Mental Ability.
- Work on grammar and reading comprehension for General English.
- Attempt every question: with no negative marking, a blank answer can only cost you marks.
- Take the official mock test on the portal a week before the exam to learn the screen layout.
