What does the Allahabad University PGAT 2027 syllabus cover?
The test is split into a general section and a subject section. This is the structure the university used in 2026.

The general section is compulsory for every course except LL.M., B.Ed., M.Ed. and MBA, whose tests follow their own pattern in the bulletin.
What is the PGAT 2027 exam pattern and marking?
Each test has 150 MCQs for 300 marks and no negative marking, going by the 2026 press release.
- PGAT-I is offered online and offline; PGAT-II is online only.
- 2026 shifts ran from 10:00 AM to 12:10 PM and from 2:30 PM to 4:40 PM.
- MBA and MBA (RD) applicants also take a departmental round after the test.

How should I prepare for Allahabad University PGAT 2027?
- For the subject section, revise the main papers of your bachelor’s degree in the subject you are applying for.
- For the general section, read a daily newspaper for current affairs and practise English and Hindi grammar and comprehension.
- Practise logical reasoning and mental ability questions every week.
- There is no negative marking, so attempt every question in the test.
- Check the 2027 bulletin as soon as it is out, since the subject codes and course list can change.
