AUD Admission 2027: Ambedkar University Delhi CUET Process, Dates

Conducted by AUD Scope Delhi

AUD Admission 2027 is the 2027-28 admission round of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi, a Delhi government university. AUD holds no entrance test of its own for most courses: UG seats go by CUET (UG) 2027 scores and most PG seats by CUET (PG) 2027 scores. You then apply on AUD’s Samarth portal, expected in July 2027 for UG.

Latest (21 September 2026): AUD closed all UG (including ITEP) and PG admissions for 2026-27 on 21 September 2026. The 2027-28 round will use CUET (UG) 2027 and CUET (PG) 2027 scores.

Does AUD hold its own entrance exam in 2027?

Not for most courses. AUD fills its UG seats on CUET (UG) scores and most PG seats on CUET (PG) scores, both conducted by NTA. There is no separate AUD written test for these programmes.

How to Apply for AUD Admission 2027

Which CUET (UG) papers does AUD need?

It depends on the programme. These are AUD’s 2026 mapping rules; the 2027 mapping is expected in January 2027, as the 2026 notice came out on 7 January 2026.

Who can apply for AUD admission 2027?

You must take CUET in the mapped papers and meet the programme’s own eligibility. These are the rules in AUD’s 2026-27 programme mapping:

  • BA (Hons), BA and BBA programmes: Class 12 pass with at least 50% marks from CBSE, DBSE or any recognised board, with 5% relaxation for SC, ST, PwBD, Delhi OBC (NCL), defence and Kashmiri migrant candidates.
  • BA (Hons) Economics also needs at least pass marks in Mathematics in Class 12; BA (Hons) English needs 65% in English.
  • B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics needs at least pass marks in Class 12 Mathematics, as clarified in AUD’s corrigendum of 30 July 2026.
  • B.Voc programmes: Class 12 pass from a recognised board.
  • PG programmes: a bachelor’s degree as set out for each programme in the admission brochure, plus CUET (PG) unless the programme says otherwise.

OBC-NCL and EWS certificates for Delhi (NCT) reserved seats must be issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi; in 2026 they had to be issued after 31 March 2026.

How are AUD seats reserved for Delhi students?

AUD keeps 85% of its UG and PG seats for candidates from the NCT of Delhi and 15% for candidates from outside Delhi. Your region depends on where you passed the qualifying exam, not where you live.

RegionSeatsReservation within the region
National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT)85%Delhi OBC (NCL) 27%, Delhi SC 15%, Delhi ST 7.5%
Outside Delhi (ONCT)15%SC 15%, ST 7.5%
All categoriesEWS 10%; PwBD 5% and defence 5% (horizontal)

Programme-wise seats are in AUD’s UG seat matrix; for example, BBA had 63 seats in 2026-27.

How does AUD prepare its admission lists?

By CUET score. AUD publishes programme-wise provisional admission lists for each category, Delhi and outside Delhi, in order of CUET normalised score. Shortlisted candidates must clear any document deficiency and pay the fee by the deadline printed on the list.

In 2026, AUD released four UG lists from 27 July, then held walk-in special drives on 1 to 3 September and 9 to 14 September before closing admissions on 21 September 2026. Non-CUET candidates are considered only for seats still vacant after the special drive.
