How to check the AMU BA LLB Result 2027?
You check the result on AMU’s admission results page by choosing the Faculty of Law and the course; no login is needed.
- Open the AMU admission results page.
- Select Faculty of Law.
- Select Undergraduate Programmes as the level.
- Select B.A.LL.B. as the course and click Submit.
- Open the Select List, the Chance Memo List or the Special Category List and look for your roll number and rank.
- Save or print the list with your roll number for counselling.
What does the AMU BA LLB result list show?
AMU publishes the BA LLB result as lists, not as individual scorecards. The Select List shows roll numbers with their ranks, and you may also see:
- Chance Memo List: candidates who may get a seat if one falls vacant. A Chance Memo is not an offer of admission.
- Special Category List: candidates selected under special categories claimed in the form, such as PwBD, NCC or sports.
- Firm admission lists: issued after each counselling round on the admission firm lists page.
AMU sends no letters to selected students. If you do not check the lists yourself and miss your counselling dates, you lose your claim to the seat.
How does the answer key affect the AMU BA LLB 2027 result?
AMU prepares the result from the revised answer key. It displays the key on its website, and you can challenge an answer online within 48 hours by paying Rs 100 per question, which is not refunded. In 2026 the key came on 28 April and challenges closed on 30 April 2026.
A committee of subject experts decides each challenge. If a question is dropped, every candidate gets full marks for it. AMU does not tell you whether your own challenge was accepted, and it does not re-evaluate or re-total OMR sheets.
What are the qualifying marks for AMU BA LLB 2027?
You must score at least 20% marks in the BA LLB test to be eligible for admission, with 5% relaxation for PwBD candidates. AMU does not publish cut-off marks for BA LLB; the Select List gives only ranks, and how far down the list seats go depends on the 264 seats and on how many selected students take admission.
What happens after the AMU BA LLB Result 2027?
If you are on the Select or Chance Memo List, you complete admission through AMU’s online counselling. In 2026, Round 1 registration ran from 14 to 16 August and Round 2 from 28 to 29 August 2026, so 2027 counselling is expected around August 2027.
- Register on the AMU counselling portal within the dates notified for BA LLB.
- Upload your original Class 12 marksheet and other documents, and fill your order of preference.
- Check the firm list and pay the admission fee online to confirm your seat.
- Report in person with your original marksheet, ID proof and category documents for verification.
- Watch for later firm lists: a seat in a higher preference is upgraded automatically unless you submit an undertaking to freeze it.
