Arunachal Pradesh ITI Admission 2027 is the online, merit-based admission to trades in the 10 Government ITIs of the state, run by the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. There is no entrance test: seats are allotted on Class X or Class VIII marks. Applications for the 2027-28 session are expected around late May to June 2027.

Is there an entrance exam for Arunachal Pradesh ITI admission 2027?
No. Admission to the Government ITIs of Arunachal Pradesh is merit-based. Selection is made strictly on the marks you got in Class X for matric trades, and in Class VIII for non-matric trades.

How to Apply for Arunachal Pradesh ITI Admission 2027
You apply only online, on the ITI registration page of the DSDE web portal (skill.arunachal.gov.in). The portal also has a step-by-step guide to the application under ITI Admission Process. The link will open for 2027 when the department starts the new admission.
Apply Online for Arunachal Pradesh ITI 2027
Applications for Arunachal Pradesh ITI 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Read the 2027-28 information brochure on skill.arunachal.gov.in for the trades, eligibility, fees and documents.
- Open the ITI Registration page on the portal and register as a new applicant.
- Fill in your personal details and your Class VIII or Class X marks, since merit is worked out on these marks.
- Choose the ITIs and trades you want, in order of preference. You can only be upgraded within this list later, so put your first choice at the top.
- Submit the form before the last date and keep your login credentials safe. You need them to see your allotment and pay the fee.

The registration fee is paid at the time of admission, not while applying. Caution money is refunded after you complete the course. The trade test (examination) fee is fixed after the Government of India notification and is paid at exam time.

Who can apply for Arunachal Pradesh ITI admission 2027?
Permanent residents of Arunachal Pradesh can apply, and so can dependents of Central Government, State Government or PSU employees. You must be at least 14 years old.
- Non-matric trades (Class VIII pass): Plumber, Wood Work Technician, Welder, Wireman and Mason (Building Constructor).
- Matric trades (Class X pass): Draughtsman (Civil), Surveyor, ICTSM, COPA, Secretarial Practice, Cosmetology and most 1-year service trades.
- Class X with Science and Mathematics: Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Electronic Mechanic, Mechanic Diesel, Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance and Solar Technician (Electrical).
- ITI (Women) Sagalee admits women only.
There is no relaxation in the qualification prescribed for a trade, so check the trade table in the brochure before you choose.
Which ITIs and trades are available in Arunachal Pradesh?
The 2026-27 brochure lists 10 Government ITIs. The 2027-28 brochure may add or drop trades, so confirm the list when the form opens.

2-year trades include Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Electronic Mechanic, Wireman, Surveyor, Draughtsman (Civil) and ICTSM. Most other trades last 1 year.
How are seats allotted in Arunachal Pradesh ITIs?
Seats are allotted online by merit and by the preferences you gave in the form. There is no separate counselling session: the department publishes provisional seat allotment lists, and allotted candidates also get an email with the next steps.
- Each round’s allotment is provisional and can change in the next round.
- If a seat opens up in a higher preference, you are upgraded automatically. Transfer between ITIs is not allowed.
- You must pay the admission and tuition fee online within 6 days of the list to freeze your seat. Private candidates who do not pay lose the seat.
In 2026 there were two allotment lists (22 and 29 June 2026). In 2025 there were three rounds and a Phase 2 for vacant seats in August and September 2025.
- Log in to the ITI admission portal with your registered credentials.
- Go to Admission, then Admission Detail, and check your seat allotment result.
- Click Proceed to Payment and pay the admission and tuition fee.
- Download the fee receipt.
- Open the Admission Letter menu and download your admission letter.
What happens after you get an ITI seat in Arunachal Pradesh?
After paying the fee online, you visit the allotted ITI for physical verification of your original documents and deposit the institute caution money. In 2026 this was done from 20 to 27 July 2026.
- Other fees, such as mess, examination, library, photo ID and hostel caution money, are paid directly to the ITI and vary from one ITI to another.
- Free hostel accommodation is given subject to availability; the mess is run by trainees on a contribution basis.
- APST trainees get a stipend of Rs 1,400 per month, subject to attendance and academic progress.
- On joining, you give the principal an undertaking to maintain discipline and take care of the institute’s tools and property.
Trainee data is then uploaded to the website of the Directorate General of Training (DGT). At the end of the course you take the trade test to earn your trade certificate.
