ACPC Engineering 2027 is the online admission counselling run by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat for first-year BE/BTech seats in 2027-28. It is not an exam. Merit combines Class 12 theory and GUJCET percentiles, JEE Main fills 5% All India seats, and registration is expected from March 2027.

Is ACPC Engineering an entrance exam?
No. ACPC Engineering is a counselling process with no test of its own. ACPC registers candidates, builds merit lists from Class 12 marks and exams held by other bodies, and allots BE/BTech seats online round by round.

ACPC Engineering 2027 Important Dates
ACPC has not published the 2027-28 BE/BTech schedule yet. Last year registration ran from 30 March to 31 May 2026 and Round 1 allotment came on 25 June 2026, so the 2027 dates below are expected months.

How to Apply for ACPC Engineering 2027
You register online only, on gujacpc.admissions.nic.in. ACPC allows registration before your Class 12 or GUJCET result is out, and documents are verified online, so you do not visit any office.
Apply Online for ACPC Engineering 2027
Applications for ACPC Engineering 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Open the ACPC online admission portal and choose Degree Engineering (BE/BTech).
- Register as a new candidate and note your User ID. You sign in later with your User ID, password and the security PIN shown on screen.
- Fill in your personal, category, Class 12 board and GUJCET or JEE Main details.
- Upload the documents asked for, in the stated format.
- Pay the Rs 350 registration fee online and save the candidate profile and fee receipt from System Generated Letters.
- Check your dashboard for document verification queries and answer them through Query Redressal in the same application.

Without internet access, you can register free of charge at an ACPC cyber space centre (11 AM to 5 PM on working days). In 2026 ACPC also ran free awareness seminars in every district from 11 April to 7 June and live YouTube webinars on registration and choice filling.
Who can apply for ACPC Engineering 2027?
You can apply if you pass Class 12 Science with the right subjects and marks. These rules are from the 2026-27 advertisement; the 2027-28 notice will confirm them.
- Minimum marks: 45% (40% for SC, ST, SEBC and EWS) in the Class 12 subjects AICTE prescribes for the branch.
- State seats: Class 12 from a school on a valid board located in Gujarat, and GUJCET of the same year.
- All India seats (5% of Govt and GIA seats): Class 12 from any valid board in India, and JEE Main of the same year.
- Supernumerary seats for OCI, foreign nationals, CIWGC and NRI candidates in Government colleges have a separate ACPC advertisement.
Your subject group decides which branches you can choose. PCM opens all branches. PMCo (Physics, Maths and a computer or vocational subject) opens computer, IT, electronics, electrical, instrumentation and biomedical branches. PCB and PCCo open biotechnology, food technology and pharmaceutical engineering, and PCB also opens agricultural technology and bioinformatics.

How is the ACPC Engineering 2027 merit list prepared?
ACPC turns your Class 12 theory marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths (or Biology) into a percentile within your board, and your GUJCET marks into a GUJCET percentile. Half of each is added to give your merit marks, which decide your merit number.
- A provisional merit list comes first (12 June 2026 last year), then the final list after queries are resolved (17 June 2026).
- JEE Main candidates for All India seats get a separate merit list.
- A revised merit list follows board re-checking and improvement results (10 July 2026 last year).

How does ACPC Engineering seat allotment work?
Seats are allotted online by merit number and the order of your locked choices. ACPC asks you to add enough choices to improve your chances.
- Mock round: fill choices and see a trial allotment, then reorder them.
- Round 1: give consent, fill and lock choices, and check your allotment.
- Confirm a seat by paying the token tuition fee online and generating the admission letter within the window.
- Rounds 2 and 3 refill vacant seats; ACPC then runs online rounds for Govt and GIA institutes.
- Offline vacant-seat rounds are held at the ACPC Building, Ahmedabad, and self-financed institutes fill their last vacant seats themselves.

Which colleges can you join through ACPC Engineering?
ACPC fills seats at Government, grant-in-aid (GIA), autonomous and self-financed (SFI) engineering institutes across Gujarat. Examples from the 2026-27 cut-off lists:
- Government: L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad; Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda; Government Engineering College, Rajkot.
- Grant-in-aid: Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, V.V. Nagar; Faculty of Technology and Engineering, Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad.
- Autonomous and university: IITRAM, Ahmedabad; Faculty of Technology and Engineering, MSU Vadodara.
- Self-financed: Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar; Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat; and many more.
