How should you fill choices in ACPC Engineering?

Your choice list matters as much as your rank. ACPC’s choice-filling guide gives this order of work:

  • Check your name, application number, category and eligible group on the dashboard first.
  • Use the filters (institute, programme, institute type, programme type) to find options, and add enough choices to improve your chances.
  • Put your most preferred institute and programme at the top; the order is what the system follows.
  • Save after every change, check the confirmation message, then lock your choices before the deadline.
  • Use the mock round result to see where you might land, and rearrange before Round 1.

What should you do after ACPC allots you an engineering seat?

You must act within the dates of that round, or the allotment lapses.

  • Accept: pay the token tuition fee online and generate the admission letter (25 to 30 June 2026 for Round 1 last year).
  • Drop it: cancel the admission online in the stated window. Refunds follow the government rule on cancellation of admission and refund of fees.
  • Report at the allotted institute and pay the remaining fees by the last date (28 July 2026 after Round 3 last year).
  • Fees at each institute follow the Fee Regulatory Committee (Technical), Gujarat.

During the online rounds you do not hand over original documents to the institute for the admission process.

How do the ACPC Engineering vacant-seat rounds work?

After the online rounds, ACPC fills leftover Government and GIA seats offline at the ACPC Building, L.D. College of Engineering campus, Ahmedabad. It first posts the vacant seats and a merit list, and you attend on the given date with original documents.

For offline round 2 on 3 September 2026, candidates had to bring a token tuition fee of Rs 1,500 in cash, plus the Rs 350 registration fee if they had not registered with ACPC. That round was also open to eligible students who had missed registration, passed a supplementary exam or not taken GUJCET 2026. Official notice (Gujarati).

Self-financed institutes fill their own vacant seats after the online rounds. For 2026-27 the last date for that was extended to 14 September 2026.
