AEEE Eligibility Criteria
AEEE eligibility criteria refer to the conditions which one must fulfil in order to be considered eligible for admission to Amrita Schools of Engineering.
Educational qualification
- The candidates must pass class 12 or its equivalent exam in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- Candidate should have obtained minimum 60% aggregate of marks in PCM and not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.
- Those who are appearing for the above examination and expect to secure the minimum marks are also eligible to apply.
AEEE Syllabus
The syllabus of AEEE for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is as per the class 11 and 12th. To understand the level of difficulty the candidates can solve AEEE sample paper and can also prepare from the sample papers for other entrance examinations. AEEE Exam Pattern
AEEE is held at national level. The exam is a computer based test and the exam pattern for it is given below:
Subjects asked in the exam: The subjects asked in the exam are physics, chemistry, maths and / or biology
Exam duration: The duration of the exam differs based on the subjects that the candidates opt for, the same is given below:
- PCM / PCB – 120 minutes
- PCMB – 150 minutes
Marks distribution: The marks and number of questions in each of the subject is given below:

Marking scheme: Candidates are awarded +3 marks; whereas for each incorrect answer, -1 mark is deducted.
AEEE Slot Booking
The slot booking is provided to those candidates who register for the AEEE computer-based test. It is provided by online mode through which candidates can select the date and slot of their choice. The allotment of test date/ slot is given on a first come first serve basis. In case, if a candidate does not complete the AEEE slot booking facility, then he/she is allotted the test date/ time by the institute as per the availability. To access AEEE slot booking, candidates have to log in using their application number and date of birth.
