AEEE 2018 Result

The result of AEEE 2018 can be checked from It is only announced online and the candidates cannot check it via the offline medium. In order to check the result, the candidates need to enter the registration number, date of birth, and security code. The AEEE result 2018 contains the score and the rank of the candidates.

AEEE Counselling 2018

Amrita University will conduct the AEEE 2018 counselling Round 1 on May 31, 2018. For it, upto 20000 top rank holder will be invited. To participate in counselling, candidates will get counselling call letters. These letters are to be carried to the exam hall. First, the document verification of the candidates will be done, then preference of the candidates will be asked and seat shall be allocated.

AEEE 2018 Application Form

You can apply for AEEE 2018 by filling and submitting either online or offline form. Dates of availability of form are given in table above. If you wish to apply online then visit If you wish to apply offline then you can obtain OMR form from any of the three channels.

Specifications of images for application form: You need one scanned copy of passport size photograph with following specifications: dimension – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, max size – 20kb. You also need a scanned copy of signature with following specifications: dimension – 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm, max size – 20kb.

Steps to apply online: Applying online is a three-step process. In order to apply, you will first have to enter details in application form. Second, upload images of photograph and signature. Third, pay the application fee.

Steps to apply offline: Obtain OMR application form from either sale outlets (Post Office, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank) or Amrita University counters of Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore or by post from Admission co-ordinator.

Application fee: The amount to be paid to register for AEEE 2018 is Rs 1000.

AEEE 2018 Slot Booking

If you are appearing for AEEE 2018 in computer based test mode, then you have to select slots during slot booking. Slot booking is online and it takes place after form submission. In this process, you select following things

  1. Test centre
  2. Date
  3. Time slot

Amrita University will conduct computer-based tests on 4 dates. On each date, there will be 3 slots. Therefore there are 12 slots to choose from. You will get the option to book test date and slot after application form submission.

Not only is the slot booking necessary to reserve a test date, but also to get hall ticket. AEEE hall ticket 2018 also generates only after slot booking.

AEEE 2018 Hall Ticket

You can get AEEE 2018 hall ticket from will be available only the slot has been booked. However, for candidates appearing for the offline exam the admit card will be issued separately.

The admit card of AEEE contains the address of exam center allotted by Amrita University. In order to download hall ticket, login by entering the Application Number and Date of Birth. It will not be sent by post. It contains further details such as name and registration number of the candidate, date of exam. It is important to have admit card for getting the permission to enter the exam hall.

A valid ID proof can be Voter ID Card, Aadhaar card, Passport, ID card issued by school last attended, Driving license, and any other authentic document that proves identity

AEEE 2018 Syllabus

The syllabus of AEEE for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is as per the class 11 and 12th. To understand the level of difficulty the candidates can solve AEEE sample paper and can also prepare from the sample papers for other entrance examinations. AEEE 2018 Exam Pattern

Amrita University will hold the engineering entrance exam in online as well as offline modes. By online exam, it means that exam will be a computer-based test. Whereas offline refers to a pen and paper-based test. As can be seen in the schedule, online test is over a period of days and slots. Offline exam, on the other hand, is on a single date. The exam pattern will be same for both modes.

The AEEE will adhere to the following scheme. Take note of this to prepare for the exam.

Overall time for the paper will be 2.5 hours or 150 minutes. You will get a single question paper with all questions.

AEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

AEEE 2018 eligibility criteria refers to the conditions which you must fulfill in order to be considered eligible for admission to Amrita Schools of Engineering. It consists of age limit, educational qualification as follows:

Age limit

Your date of birth should be on or after July 01, 1997. The date of birth in school records are valid.

Educational qualification

You should pass class 12. Your aggregate score in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry should be at least 60%. Moreover, minimum marks in each of these subjects should be 55%. You are also eligible if you are appearing in March / April 2018 exams.
