AEEE 2018 exam dates are April 19 to 22, 2018 for online exam, and April 28, 2018 for offline exam. Amrita University is conducting Amrita Entrance Exam – Engineering (AEEE) for B.Tech admission 2018-2019. Furthermore, the university has announced that application form will be available from November 15, 2017. You can apply either online or offline. The online application form of AEEE can be filled at amrita.edu. Whereas the offline form is available at specific sale outlets. Those who apply will in time get admit card or hall ticket for the purpose of appearing in exam. AEEE 2018 is for Amrita University Engineering Admission 2018. Amrita University has five campuses in three states that are Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka. Following are the important dates of this engineering entrance exam.

There will be three slots for online exams on each day. Candidates can select their exam slot during slot booking. However, the offline test will be only on one day. Exam timings for the offline exam are 10 AM to 12:30 PM.
AEEE 2018 Application Form
If you are eligible and want admission in Amrita University (first year engineering) then you must apply for AEEE. Apply either online or offline. But not both. With this in mind, first decide which mode to go for. An overview of the application process is explained here.
- The online application form for AEEE 2018 is at amrita.edu.
- The application fee is Rs 1000.
- Register with a valid email ID. Enter the name, date of birth, mobile number, education details, and other details in the form. Also upload scan copy of passport size photograph (dimension: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, max size: 20kb), scan copy of signature (dimension: 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm, max size: 20kb).
- Those who apply online can either pay the application fee online or offline through DD. If you pay using DD then you will send print out of form with DD to the university.
- If you want to apply offline then you can get the OMR form. OMR application form is available at the university and sale outlets. Therefore check sale outlets for AEEE application form on the website, which are specific banks and post offices.
AEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria
A few points cover the eligibility criteria. They are about the age limit and educational qualification. Only those who are eligible must apply in order to appear in AEEE. Following are the conditions to satisfy.
- Age: Your date of birth should be on or after July 01, 1997. The date of birth in school records are valid.
- Education: You should pass class 12. Your aggregate score in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry should be at least 60%. Moreover, minimum marks in each of these subjects should be 55%.
Please note that even such candidates who are appearing in March / April 2018 exams can apply.
AEEE 2018 Exam Pattern
Amrita University will hold the engineering entrance exam in online as well as offline modes. By online exam, it means that exam will be a computer-based test. Whereas offline refers to a pen and paper-based test. As can be seen in the schedule, online test is over a period of days and slots. Offline exam, on the other hand, is on a single date. The exam pattern will be same for both modes.
The AEEE will adhere to the following scheme. Take note of this to prepare for the exam.

AEEE 2018 Syllabus
AEEE is a university level engineering entrance exam. Its standard is at par with national level engineering entrance exams. Nevertheless, a specific syllabus for the exam is defined. Those who are appearing in AEEE 2018 must study all topics from this syllabus to score well. One can refer to standard books for preparation. We advise to study theory from school and entrance level books. In addition, practice multiple choice questions from engineering entrance exam preparation books. Also there are AEEE preparation books available to go a step further with the entrance exam preparation. At all times keep in mind that all questions in the exam will be from the official AEEE syllabus.

AEEE 2018 Slot Booking
Amrita University will conduct computer-based tests on 4 dates. On each date, there will be 3 slots. Therefore there are 12 slots to choose from. You will get the option to book test date and slot after application form submission.
Not only is the slot booking necessary to reserve a test date, but also to get hall ticket. AEEE hall ticket 2018 also generates only after slot booking.
By booking a test slot you know the exact date and time to appear in exam. You can take the Amrita Entrance Exam – Engineering 2018 only once (one test slot). Select the slot wisely as you cannot change it later on. Neither can you change the mode of exam from CBT to P&P, or vice versa.
