AEEE 2018 is an entrance examination for admission in B.Tech course, offered by the Amrita University. It will be conducted in online and offline mode. The computer based exam will be held from April 19 to 22, 2018, whereas, the exam in pen and paper mode will be conducted on April 28, 2018. AEEE 2018 Application Form
You can apply for AEEE 2018 by filling and submitting either online or offline form. Dates of availability of form are given in table above. If you wish to apply online then visit www.amrita.edu. If you wish to apply offline then you can obtain OMR form from any of the three channels.
Specifications of images for application form: You need one scanned copy of passport size photograph with following specifications: dimension – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, max size – 20kb. You also need a scanned copy of signature with following specifications: dimension – 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm, max size – 20kb.
Steps to apply online: Applying online is a three-step process. In order to apply, you will first have to enter details in application form. Second, upload images of photograph and signature. Third, pay the application fee.
Steps to apply offline: Obtain OMR application form from either sale outlets (Post Office, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank) or Amrita University counters of Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore or by post from Admission co-ordinator.
Application fee: The amount to be paid to register for AEEE 2018 is Rs 1000.
AEEE 2018 Slot Booking
If you are appearing for AEEE 2018 in computer based test mode, then you have to select slots during slot booking. Slot booking is online and it takes place after form submission. In this process, you select following things

Amrita University will conduct computer-based tests on 4 dates. On each date, there will be 3 slots. Therefore there are 12 slots to choose from. You will get the option to book test date and slot after application form submission.

Not only is the slot booking necessary to reserve a test date, but also to get hall ticket. AEEE hall ticket 2018 also generates only after slot booking.
AEEE 2018 Hall Ticket
You can get AEEE 2018 hall ticket from amrita.edu. It contains address of exam centre allotted by Amrita University. You get it only if you submit application form with fee on time. In order to download hall ticket, log in. Log in requires registered Email ID or application number and date of birth. It will not be sent by post. It contains further details such as name and registration number of the candidate, date of exam. It is important to have admit card to appear in exam.

AEEE 2018 Syllabus
Syllabus for exam is as per class XI and XII subjects consisting of physics, chemistry, mathematics.
Difficulty level of exam is at par with national level engineering entrance exams. Nevertheless, a specific syllabus for the exam is defined. You must study all topics from this syllabus to score well. You can also refer to standard books for preparation. We advise to study theory from school and entrance level books. In addition, practice multiple choice questions from engineering entrance exam preparation books. Also there are AEEE preparation books available to go a step further with the entrance exam preparation. At all times keep in mind that all questions in the exam will be from the official AEEE syllabus.
AEEE 2018 Exam Pattern
Amrita University will hold the engineering entrance exam in online as well as offline modes. By online exam, it means that exam will be a computer-based test. Whereas offline refers to a pen and paper-based test. As can be seen in the schedule, online test is over a period of days and slots. Offline exam, on the other hand, is on a single date. The exam pattern will be same for both modes.

AEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria
AEEE 2018 eligibility criteria refers to the conditions which you must fulfill in order to be considered eligible for admission to Amrita Schools of Engineering. It consists of age limit, educational qualification as follows:
Your date of birth should be on or after July 01, 1997. The date of birth in school records are valid.
You should pass class 12. Your aggregate score in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry should be at least 60%. Moreover, minimum marks in each of these subjects should be 55%. You are also eligible if you are appearing in March / April 2018 exams.
