AEEE 2027 (Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering) is the computer-based test Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham holds for B.Tech admission at its eight engineering campuses. Amrita says AEEE 2027 will be held between 15 April and 7 May 2027, and registration will open in November 2026. Admission is also possible with a JEE Main percentile.

Amrita has announced the AEEE 2027 exam window and the month registration opens; the other 2027 dates below are expected months based on the 2026 cycle.

How to Apply for AEEE 2027
You apply for AEEE 2027 online only, through the Register Now button on the official AEEE website. Amrita says registration for B.Tech 2027 will start in November 2026. The steps and fee below are from the 2026 information brochure and may change slightly for 2027.
Apply Online for AEEE 2027
Applications for AEEE 2027 are expected in November 2026.
- Open aeee.amrita.edu and click Register Now.
- Enter your name, mobile number, email ID, state and city, and verify your mobile number.
- Fill in your personal and academic profile and choose three cities for the test centre.
- Choose your route: AEEE, JEE Main percentile, or both. You can add the JEE Main route later at no extra fee.
- Pay the fee online. Registration counts as complete only after the payment succeeds.
Enter your details exactly as on your Class 10 certificate. In 2026 Amrita allowed no corrections after the form was submitted, and requests to change the test city were not accepted.

The fee is paid online only and is not refunded. Amrita has not yet announced the AEEE 2027 fee or whether 2027 will have more than one phase.
How to log in to the AEEE 2027 candidate portal?
You use the AEEE login to complete your registration and pay the fee, book your exam date and slot, download the admit card, see your percentile and rank, and register for CSAP seat allotment. The 2027 login will open with registration, expected in November 2026.
- Open the official AEEE website. Until the 2027 registration opens, it shows only the announcement.
- Click Register Now, or the login option, once the 2027 portal is live.
- Enter the mobile number or email ID you registered with. In 2026 the portal sent a one-time password (OTP) to it.
- Enter the OTP to open your dashboard, where you finish the form, pay the fee and, at each stage, book your slot, download the admit card and see your result.
Forgot your login? The 2026 portal used an OTP, so there was no password to recover; a new OTP goes to your registered mobile or email. Keep that number and email active until admission is over. For other problems, write to [email protected].
Who can apply for AEEE 2027?
You can apply if you have passed, or are appearing in, Class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2027 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Amrita has not yet published the 2027 rules, so these are the latest official ones.
- Marks: a minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with at least 50% in each, as listed on the official AEEE website. The 2026 brochure said 60% aggregate, so check the 2027 brochure.
- Age: for 2026, candidates had to be born on or after 1 July 2005. The 2027 age limit is not yet announced.
- Qualifying exams: Class 12 from CBSE, CISCE or a state board, a two-year Pre-University or Intermediate course, GCE A level, IB Diploma, or NIOS senior secondary with at least five subjects.
- Nationality: resident and non-resident Indians, OCI and PIO holders. Foreign nationals apply through Amrita’s international admissions office.
- NRI and OCI/PIO students who studied abroad can take NRI admission, where AEEE or JEE is not mandatory.
What is the AEEE 2027 exam pattern?
AEEE 2027 is a 2.5-hour computer-based test in English with multiple-choice questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Quantitative Aptitude and English. The section split below is the latest official pattern.

- Marking: +3 for each correct answer, -1 for each wrong answer, 0 for a question left blank.
- Syllabus: Class 11 and 12 topics, based on the CBSE and state board syllabus.
- Calculators, phones and log tables are not allowed, and using the computer’s own calculator leads to disqualification.
- Amrita runs an official practice test portal to get used to the computer-based format.
How does Amrita allot B.Tech seats after AEEE 2027?
Seats are allotted through the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP), using your AEEE rank or your JEE Main percentile. You choose your campus and branch only at CSAP, not in the application form.
- In 2026 about 70% of seats were set aside for AEEE candidates and 30% for JEE Main candidates, as a guideline.
- There is no fixed cut-off. Allotment depends on your rank, the number of applicants and your choices.
- Fees are scholarship-based: your rank, branch and seat availability decide your fee slab. There is no management quota.
- The 2026 CSAP registration fee was INR 5,000, refunded only if none of your chosen branches is allotted.
