How does HPU admit students after the entrance test?
Each department ranks candidates on its own test and then holds counselling for subsidised and non-subsidised seats.
- The department posts the entrance result as a notice on hpuniv.ac.in.
- It then issues a counselling notice with the date and the documents to bring.
- Admission lists follow in rounds. For LL.B. in 2026, HPU issued five lists between 18 and 31 July.
- The HPU Regional Centre in Dharamshala runs its own counselling and lists for the courses it offers.
How to read the result notices is explained on the HPU Entrance Exam 2027 result page.
