HPU MCA Entrance Test 2018 Counseling

The candidates who have made through the merit list will be allowed to participate in the counselling. It is mandatory for candidates to report at the stipulated schedule in person for the counselling. Candidates will be required to necessary document at the time of counselling, failing which, they will not be allowed to participate for the counselling. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) from a University established by law in India. The applicant must have studied Mathematics at +2 level.
  OR
• Should possess BCA/B. Sc. (IT)/ B. Sc. (Computer Science)/B.Sc. Physical Science(Computer Science)/ B.A. with Computer Science/B.Sc. Honours with Computer Science or any graduate degree with computers as one of the subject with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) from a University established by law in India.

Age Limit as on July 01, 2018 ( Maximum )

• For General Candidates: 26 years
• For SC/ST category: 29 years
• For girl candidates: 28 years

Note: The Vice-Chancellor may permit age relaxation up to a maximum of six months

HPU MCA Entrance Test 2018 Application Form

• The application process has started.
• The applications for the entrance test will be available online at hpucs.ac.in or hpuniv.nic.in.
• Fill in the required details such as personal details, educational qualification details, upload scanned copy of the photograph, signature and certificate as per the given format.

• After filling in details in the online application form, proceed to make payment for the entrance exam fee.

Application fee 

The entrance exam fee for HPU MCA entrance test 2018 can be paid by either of the following modes:

• Challan
• Online (Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking)

HPU MCA Entrance Test 2018 Admit Card

The admit card for the HPU MCA Entrance Test 2018 has been released online at the University’s website. The candidates who have submitted their application form before the last date, completed in all aspects, are able to download their admit card, the admit card can be downloaded by entering the Application Number and Password as provided at the time of registration.

Exam Pattern

The written test will consist of one paper of 130 marks and of 2 hours duration and shall include the following four sections:

Note: The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Examination (written test) for subsidized as well as non-subsidized seats will be 35% i.e. 46 marks out of total of 130 marks & no minimum qualifying marks limit in case of SC/ST.
