LBS Kerala MCA 2027 Important Dates
LBS Centre has not announced the 2027 schedule. In 2026 the application fee could be paid from 30 April to 25 May, online submission ran till 26 May 2026, and the exam was held in June 2026, so a similar timeline is expected for 2027.

How to Apply for LBS Kerala MCA 2027
You apply online only, through the MCA admission link on the LBS Centre website, once the 2027 notification is out. The steps below follow the 2026-27 prospectus.
Apply Online for LBS Kerala MCA 2027
Applications for LBS Kerala MCA 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Read the prospectus for the year; earlier prospectuses are not valid.
- Open the MCA admission link on the LBS Centre website and register with your name, mobile number and email. Create a strong password.
- Note the Registration ID sent by SMS. You log in with it (or your email) until the end of allotment.
- Fill the application form, then pay the application fee online.
- Upload your photo, signature and certificates, including nativity proof and date of birth proof.
- Submit the form and print the confirmation page. Do not post any documents to LBS Centre.

Who can apply for LBS Kerala MCA 2027?
Any graduate with at least 50% marks can apply (45% for reserved categories), based on the 2026-27 prospectus.
- Degree: any graduation such as B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, B.A., B.Voc or BCA, preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 or degree level.
- No Maths background: you can still apply; the university or college runs a compulsory bridge course.
- Marks are not rounded up to the next whole number.
- The degree must be from a university in Kerala or one recognised by a Kerala university.
- Final-year degree students can write the exam, but must show the degree certificate and all mark lists at admission.
- Nationality: Indian citizens. Non-Keralites are considered only for State Merit seats, without reservation or fee concession.
What is the LBS Kerala MCA 2027 exam pattern?
It is a two-hour offline test of 120 objective questions marked on an OMR sheet, in English. The section split below is from the 2026-27 prospectus; the full topic list is on the LBS Kerala MCA syllabus page.

Each correct answer gets 1 mark and no marks are deducted for wrong answers. Marking more than one bubble counts as a wrong answer. You can take the question booklet home after the exam.
How are MCA seats allotted after the LBS Kerala entrance?
Government seats in participating colleges are filled from the LBS rank list through an online centralized allotment process (CAP); management seats are filled by the colleges themselves.
- Candidates in the rank list register college options in their candidate home page.
- There are two regular online allotments, then special allotments and spot admissions if seats are left.
- After each allotment you pay a token fee online, or you lose the seat.
- Seat shares in colleges without minority status: State Merit 50%, EWS 10%, SEBC 30% and SC/ST 10%; 5% of state seats are for persons with benchmark disabilities.
