How is MAKAUT CET 2020 Result Prepared?
The CET Board prepares the result in accordance with the marking scheme prescribed for the Common Entrance Test. No other factor is involved in the result calculation. Previous academic qualifications hold no weightage while granting marks or deciding ranks of the examinees. Following marking scheme is followed to calculate MAKAUT CET 2020 Result.
- For every correct answer, 2 marks are awarded.
- Marks of all the correct answers are totalled to arrive at the final score.

MAKAUT CET 2020 Counselling
All the qualified candidates of the entrance test are invited for the counselling procedure. It may be held in online/offline mode, as per discretion of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Without participating in counselling process, candidates lose their claim to the seat. Hence, it is mandatory for all CET qualified candidates to take part in counselling.
During the counselling process, candidates have to submit college and course preferences. Based on the rank of the candidate in MAKAUT CET 2020 and preferences exercised, seat allotment is done. The schedule and mode of counselling are intimated after the declaration of MAKAUT CET 2020 result.
About MAKAUT Common Entrance Test (CET)
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal conducts an entrance test for admission to UG and PG courses offered in-house by MAKAUT and by its affiliated colleges. The test is held on national level in computer-based mode. For the purpose of conduct of exam and declaration of result, a CET Board is constituted by the University.
