Does MAKAUT release an official CET answer key?
Not in 2026. The official CET 2026 schedule went from the 2 June test straight to rank cards on 20 June, with no answer key, response sheet or challenge step in between. If MAKAUT adds one for 2027, it will appear in the 2027 schedule on the portal.
How do I calculate my MAKAUT CET score?
Each MAKAUT CET question carries 2 marks. The 2026 scheme of examination mentions no negative marking, so on that basis your score is twice the number of correct answers.
| Correct answers | Score (out of 100) |
|---|---|
| 20 | 40 |
| 30 | 60 |
| 40 | 80 |
| 50 | 100 |
Your rank depends on how others in your group score, so wait for the MAKAUT CET rank card.
Where can I practise with real MAKAUT CET questions?
MAKAUT does not publish past CET papers or answer keys. The 2026 information brochure has 20 official sample questions on general knowledge, English, biology and reasoning, which are the closest guide to the real paper.
