Assam JMEE 2019: The Assam Science and Technology University shall conduct Assam JMEE 2019 in the second week of July 2019. The entrance test is to determine merit for admission to the 1st year MCA course at Assam Engineering College, Guwahati and Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat. Interested aspirants can apply for JMEE 2019 online at the DTE website, dteassam.in. The official dates regarding the relevant events included in JMEE 2019 admission are not being announced yet. We will intimate the information as soon as it will be released. Eligibility Criteria

Here, we have enlisted the eligibility criteria for the aspiring candidates to appear in the entrance examination. The below criteria is as per the last year trends because the official information regarding 2019 events has not been announced yet.

Educational Qualification

  1. Should possess a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)
  2. The candidates should have studied and passed in Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
  3. Candidates who will be appearing in their final examination are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit:

The aspirant’s age should be in between 20 to 26 years old.

Others: 

Those candidates who are appearing in their final examination can also apply in the entrance test. Provisional admissions shall be granted when the students promise to provide the undertaking of giving final marksheet or certificate of the qualifying exam within 2 months of taking the admission. Failure in the prescribed requirement can cause cancellation of the candidature. Candidates seeking the provisional admission shall have to clear all subjects up to 5th Semester in degree level. These students have to produce all mark sheets up to 5th Semester for verification during Counseling the counselling session.

JMEE 2019 Application Form

Candidates can fill the JMEE application form only through the online mode by visiting the official website. The form will be available on www.dteassam.in. Register online by providing the required details. On completing the registration process, candidates receive an Application Number or user id. Fill in other required details and upload the photograph and signature as per the specification prescribed by the conducting body. Candidates also have to submit the hard copy of the application form at the DTE Assam office.

Examination Fees

As per the last year trends, candidates have to make the payment through online mode only.  Candidates paid Rs 1000/- as the examination fee previous year using “State Bank Collect” which facilitates the payment through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking. Also, the appearing contenders can pay the fee after generating the Cash Deposit Form from “State Bank Collect”.  And most importantly, the JMEE 2019 application fee is non-refundable.

JMEE 2019 Admit Card

The conduction body releases the JMEE admit card on its official website dteassam.ac.in. Candidates can download their hall ticket by log onto the candidate portal by filling the asked credentials such as Application Number and Password. This is to inform to all the appearing candidates that the issue of JMEE admit card enables them to only appear in the entrance exam and not make them eligible to get admission in the concerned course as a matter of fact. Also, it is advised to preserve the hall ticket after the exam as well as it can be needed at the JMEE counselling process.

JMEE 2019 Result

Assam Science and Technology University releases the JMEE Result for the following academic year in the Merit List format on its official website. Candidates can access their result in the PDF format. Also, after releasing the merit list, the conducting body also provides the scorecard to the appearing candidates. In case of a tie in the marks, tiebreaker rules apply prescribed by the University. Usually, in such cases, a candidate whose qualifying exam result is out, gets a higher rank.

JMEE 2019 Counselling

JMEE counselling takes place after the result declaration and selection of the eligible candidates to proceed further. Candidates have to report on the specific time and date at the designated centre. Failure in following any stage causes cancellation of the admission. In the JMEE counselling process, candidates have to bring the important documents as well for the verification and submission purpose such as JMEE 2019 Admit Card, Permanent Resident Certificate, Caste/ Category Certificate (if applicable), and many more.
