Current Exam pattern of MHT CET
The current exam pattern of MHT CET is given below:
Mode of Exam: The mode of exam is Computer-based (online mode)
Question paper language: The medium of question paper is English, Urdu, and Marathi
Duration of the exam: Each of the groups that are PCM group and PCB group has been allotted 180 mins to complete the exam.
Negative marking: There is no negative marking in the exam. The marks distribution in the paper is given below.
Total no. of questions –
- Group I (PCM) – There are total 150 questions of 200 marks
- Group II (PCB) – There are total 200 questions of 200 marks
1. The candidates who wish to take admission in Engineering and Technology courses have to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics – PCM group
2. Candidates who wish to take admission in of Pharm.D courses have to appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and/or Biology – (PCB or PCMB)

MHT CET is conducted by the State Common Entrance Cell for pursuing graduation at state level. The courses offered after the clearance of the exam are Bachelor in Engineering or Technology (B.E/B.Tech) or Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/Pharm.D), Agriculture & Allied Courses, or Fisheries Science or Dairy Technology. The exam is for the students to pursue graduation. The exam is an online exam.
