AMPCK UGCET 2027 (also written AMPCK UG CET) is the engineering entrance test of the Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka (AMPCK) for B.E. admission on AMPCK quota seats in its member colleges. Dates are not announced yet; going by 2026, the notification is expected around April 2027 and the test in May or June 2027.

AMPCK UGCET 2027 Important Dates
AMPCK has not announced the 2027 schedule yet. The dates below are expected months based on 2026, when the notification came on 1 April 2026 and the test, postponed from 24 May, was held on 20 June 2026.

How to Apply for AMPCK UGCET 2027
You fill the AMPCK UGCET form online at ampck.in, then download it and post the printout to AMPCK. In 2026 the form was open from 10 April to 10 May 2026 and printed forms had to reach AMPCK by 13 May 2026, so the 2027 form is expected around April 2027. The steps below follow the 2026 process.
Apply Online for AMPCK UGCET 2027
Applications for AMPCK UGCET 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Open the online application form on ampck.in.
- Enter your name, date of birth, gender, email, mobile number and address. The mobile number is your username for the admission ticket, so give one you will keep.
- Choose your preferred exam centre (Bengaluru or Mangaluru) and fill in your parents’ details and your SSLC and II PUC/Class 12 school details.
- Upload your photo, a photo ID or address proof, your SSLC marks card and your PUC/Class 12 marks card (each up to 100 KB, JPG or PNG). Linguistic minority candidates also upload the minority certificate.
- Submit the form, then download and print the filled application.
- Send the printout with photocopies of your SSLC and PUC marks cards, photo ID and one passport-size colour photo by speed post or private courier to the Chief Examiner, AMPCK, No.10, Rajaram Mohan Roy Road, Sampangiramnagar, Bengaluru 560027.
Fill every column with care: AMPCK allows no change once the form reaches its office. Keep a photocopy of the form until admission is over.

Who can apply for AMPCK UGCET 2027?
You can apply if you have passed II PUC, Class 12 or an equivalent exam with the subjects below. These are the 2026 rules; check the 2027 brochure when it comes out.
- Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- One optional subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics.
- English studied as one of the languages.
- An aggregate of 45% in the optional subjects, as worded in the brochure.
- Linguistic or religious minority candidates attach a minority certificate, in the brochure’s format, signed by the head of the school where they studied SSLC or Class 10.
General merit candidates can also take the test and choose a seat from the AMPCK merit list.
Which colleges and seats are offered through AMPCK UGCET?
AMPCK UGCET fills 40% of the B.E. intake, the AMPCK quota, in its member engineering colleges. The 2026 seat split was as follows.

The other 60% are management (30%) and NRI (30%) seats, which are not filled through this test. The 2027 list of colleges and seats will be in the 2027 brochure.
What is the AMPCK UGCET 2027 exam pattern?
AMPCK UGCET is one offline paper of 180 multiple-choice questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, answered on an OMR sheet.

- Mode: offline OMR test at centres in Bengaluru and Mangaluru.
- Each question carries one mark. The brochure does not mention negative marking.

AMPCK ranks candidates only on their Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics marks in AMPCK UGCET, and seats go by this rank.
