How is the MHT CET 2027 syllabus divided?
Questions are set from the SCERT Maharashtra syllabus, with about 20% weightage for Class 11 and 80% for Class 12. In the latest (2026) syllabus, State CET Cell says the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions are at JEE Main level and Biology at NEET level, and that questions are mainly application based.

What is the MHT CET 2027 marking scheme?
Each group is a 180-minute computer-based test worth 200 marks, with no negative marking. Physics and Chemistry carry 1 mark per question, Mathematics 2 marks and Biology 1 mark. This is the 2026 scheme:

Which books should I use for MHT CET 2027?
- Start with the Maharashtra State Board Class 11 and 12 textbooks, since the questions follow their chapters.
- Give most of your time to Class 12, which carries about 80% of the questions.
- For PCM, practise JEE Main level problems in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; for PCB, practise NEET level Biology questions.
- Solve full papers in two 90-minute blocks, as in the real exam.
