How to Check the MHT CET 2027 Cut Off
State CET Cell publishes a separate cut-off PDF after every CAP round on the course portal (fe2026.mahacet.org for engineering and ph2026.mahacet.org for pharmacy in 2026).
- Open the B.E./B.Tech or B.Pharm CAP portal for the 2027-28 admission year once Round I allotment is out.
- Download the cut-off list for the round you want, choosing Maharashtra & Minority seats or All India seats.
- Find your college by its five-digit institute code, then the branch by its choice code.
- Read the column for your seat type, such as GOPENS (open, state level) or GOBCS (OBC, state level).
- The plain number is the closing State General Merit Number; the figure in brackets is the closing MHT CET percentile.

What affects the MHT CET 2027 cut off?
- Round: Round I closes highest, and later rounds can ease slightly or leave no seat in a category.
- Seat type: some colleges split open seats into home university (H) and other than home university (O) seats, each with its own cut off, while autonomous institutes list state-level (S) seats.
- Category and gender: OBC, SC, ST, EWS, TFWS and ladies seats close at different points.
- Number of candidates: about 4.54 lakh appeared in the first PCM attempt in 2026, so small changes in percentile mean big changes in merit number.
- Branch demand: computer and AI branches close well above core branches in the same college.
